icctromboneEpisode 169.Hi Al, I am a subscriber to this show and look for it every 2 weeks. I really enjoy the subject of Thanos and Adam Warlock and the wilderness years is a particularly uinique aspect of this show. I used to perk up whenever either characters were referenced in the various Marvel mags after their deaths. Your format of rotating guest hosts is pretty good also. You know a lot about Marvels history and sometimes the guests fill in the blanks. I gave the show 5 stars but I have to pass on some critique about this episode and some of the past shows. While I do enjoy a lot of the digressions from the main topic, maybe you can edit them more closely. Talking about Sue Richards mullet had little to do with the shows topic. I don’t mind listening to 1or 2 minutes of off topic banter but it gets to be distracting after that. One other thing about this particular episode, the first guest was wearing his political bent on his sleeve and came off hostile in some places. I generally tune out of shows that include politics. I get enough from the TV and social media about the divided nature of our country and I listen to shows like this to hear about my favorite hobby , comics. This is the first episode that zI was tempted to stop listening to for that reason. To change the subject, I never heard how old you are in any of the previous shows. You have a fountain of knowledge and this comes from reading a lot of comics and or age. I just turned 62 and get annoyed when podcasters don’t know comic history. You really cover your subjects well in that regard. Anyway thanks again for producing a top notch show.

Grammar MerchantWorth SubscribingI've always loved cosmic Marvel comics, so I was pleased to find this podcast covering Adam Warlock, Thanos, Pip the Troll, and all sorts of other cosmic Marvel characters and storylines. The hosts dip into other (more mainstream) storylines and titles when the need arises, but my favorites are the episodes covering those truly inspired/deranged stories that could only have emerged from Marvel Comics in the experimental '70s. Great stuff!

Kyle BenningHeroes Live Forever but Warlock Never DiesThe best Adam Warlock (and now Thanos) podcast on the interwebs. Al and his co-hosts really offer a level of dissection and critical analysis of these very deep comics in a level nearly unparalleled by other comic podcasts. If you like Adam Warlock or Thanos, you need to listen to this podcast!

whisperingloonSix infinity gems out of six! This is my absolute FAVORITE podcast about Adam Warlock, and I’m not just saying that. Okay, there aren’t that many out there. And by “that many” I mean “any.” So let’s get serious. I started listening to this not knowing anything about Adam Warlock, but having heard about him in my reading. When he shows up in a comic, I know nothing about him. Coming across this, I thought it would be interesting. Maybe even informative. This podcast is both: interesting and informative. This is hosted by someone who really likes the character, which is good, but he (and his guests) spin that into interesting conversations about the stories and the characters. Fans of the character should enjoy this; comic fans wanting to know more about the character will get to know the character. Highly recommended.

winteriscomingCosmic!By far the best Adam Warlock podcast hosted by a guy named Al from the East Coast of the United States! Seriously, though, this is a great in depth look at a character that many people think they know but they leglect his early appearances. If you are a fan of Marvel Cosmic...well, comics at all..you should be listening. Excelsior!
