    Beer and comics!
Great podcast for Power Pack fans or any comic fan. The hosts are lots of fun and keep the show going. The reviews are honest and very funny. Plus beer! Highly recommend it.

    Hey guys…
I think that you guys should post your patron episodes because some people can’t listen to them.

Pack-Men (and Pack-Daughter) Leading the Pack!
This show has it all: 1980s comic books! Beer! Science! Refrigerator Art! G-Forces! And commentary from an actual target-age child (she steals the show every time of course!). The creators of Power Pack have been guests, too! Tune in, or be less Energized than you could be!

    Love it
Two guys who are enjoying beer and underrated comics- also with “science corner” and “kid perspective”- a combination that makes sense with the comic they are covering- more fun then the comics were- and the comics were a blast-

    Great Podcast!
These guys put their hearts into this podcast and you can hear it. Is it rehearsed? Don’t know but the dialogue and delivery are first class. You will hear this on NPR soon probably. Funny, entertaining for all kids big and small. They’re having fun but the quality speaks for itself. Wonderful!

Fun Show with a Lot of Humor, Heart, and Beer
Power Pack is one of the great under appreciated gems of 80s comics, and Jeff and Rick bring it back to life on this wonderful show. Tune in as they review each issue and pick a beer to match the theme of the comic. Seriously, their beer recommendations are the best! The show is sweet, funny, and will make you say, “Gee!” —Sean Ross

    Highly Recommended!!
This show is so much fun! Jeff and Rick bring a unique voice and style to the comic book podcasting world, focusing on the positives and making it an enjoyable listen! POWER PACK is an under-rated series, and these guys are giving it the spotlight it deserves. There are beer recommendations, singing, running gags, awards, great guests, and so much more! It's even a family affair - Rick's daughter and wife's participation on the show just ramps up the fun factor to 11! Highly recommended for anyone whomever has enjoyed comics.. or laughing.

    Fun and entertaining
Have been catching up to your current episodes and I have enjoyed it all through and through. Especially love the daughter’s sound effects and perspective. I was and older teen at the time of its original publication and only would skim through at the time . Now that I’m much older with grown kids I’m much more into the series. Please keep it up and thank you for an amazing pod cast. Shout out to Jay and Miles X-plain the X-men and Hub/Cory at Titian up the Defense for recommending your pod cast.

    Pack of Powerful Presentations
Indexing one of my favorite series from the 80's, these guys hit it out of the Power Park every episode. Their love of the comic is evident, and if you love long lyrical lines of alliteration, this is the podcast for you. Remember before listening, "Costumes on!"

    Over production the podcast
If you came to learn more about the power pack you’re better off just reading the source material. Too often do these two get off track or just stop their synopsis to goof off. Now there is nothing wrong with going off the rails but during the synopsis when you’re trying to understand the plot is honestly really annoying. Other issues that lower the score for me, extra sound effects, beer review, random songs without context, comic ads discussion, the grounding in reality segments, and their just general unenjoyment of the issue at hand. They talk as if they love the power pack but typically at the end of each show they just talk about how dumb a character or situation was and usually mention the stuff they don’t like or just flat out say they didn’t like the issue. If the show was cut down to four segements, intro; previously on...; synopsis; and ending discussion the show would be a win win for me, however that is just not the case. They have a format and they follow it only slightly. As I said far too much deviation during the synopsis just makes this show difficult to listen to. I can look past the beer review, I can look past the annoying sound effects from an eight year old girl, but when the whole reason I’m even listening to the show is constantly derailed I can’t justify listening to the show anymore. I just don’t see their love for power pack, all I’m hearing is two dudes beat down an old comic with their 2018 criticisms. “We don’t say mutant...”???? Like seriously? That’s a trigger for you? The only good thing this show has is production value in terms of quality. They may be new but after ten episodes all they’ve done is make a show with almost useless criticism and awkward segments. Perhaps take a lesson from Titan up the Defense (the show you based yours off of) and stream line your work a bit better. When you have a patreon you’re not just doing this for fun anymore, you’re doing it for others enjoyment and if you aren’t satisfying others your just trying to make money and not everyone is good at that.

    Great new podcast
I almost never get to jump on what is obviously going to be one of the next big podcasts but thankfully I found Unpacking the Power Pack. For the actual content not only are the hosts incredibly funny they really care about the story. Keep up the good work guys.
