You guys need to run for office!
Been catching up on watching the older podcasts. Very fun to hear the back and forth from such good friends. It reminds me of the way we shop rats talked to each other in the 42 years I worked in an assembly plant for General Motors. You are all very intelligent and I would vote for you for President, Vice-President , and Secretary of State in the next election.

Enlightening pod for anyone who builds anything
I get just as much out of this pod for my career as a programmer and a manager of other programmers as I do for wood working. I’ve been binging episodes and sharing so many quotes with junior engineers that I mentor/coach/manage. Great in-depth conversations from true experienced professionals who care about their crafts.

    The Best Woodworking Podcast
Granted, there are a lot of woodworking/ shop talking podcasts out there, some decent, some ok, a few mildly entertaining, but at the end of the day it’s all just talk about wood which typically descends into bulls**t in the realest sense of the word. This podcast however, while occasionally the friendly banter is in that vein, the bull is not the focus nor the entertainment value that the podcast provides, instead Erik, Paul, and Mary pose and tackle thought provoking questions that challenge the listener to think deeper about design, life, making, and it’s role in our lives as individuals and in culture as a whole. I don’t think I can speak highly enough about how enjoyable this podcast is to listen to and how refreshingly substantive it is in comparison to other popular podcasts in the world today 😂 Keep up the good work!

Bullsh*t plus great discussions and debate
Finally a show that talks about design, creativity, and creation, not just shop talk. Don’t get me wrong, the banter and jest is top notch, creating a fun conversation to listen to. But most media like this talks about product, technique, tech, and popular interests. Erik, Mary, and Paul tackle some great philosophy on design and the art behind creating woodwork. Excited to keep following this show.
