Used to really enjoy this podcast. It has changed. When focussed on in depth analysis this podcast can be extremely good but lately there has been entirely too much off topic banter and inside joking between the hosts that can go on uncontrolled often for 15 minutes or so. Its entirely too self indulgent and annoying for this listener. Great that they like each other but better if kept in proportion to the topic at hand. Lately have been noticing some of the hosts are not prepared and do not remember specific details about the material. Yet they ask for monetary support? No Thanks.

The sound volume fluctuates too much. It’s really quiet then really loud. It makes it difficult to listen to, especially in a car. I’ve enjoyed the ACOTAR series and looking forward to a Mist & Fury review.

Things have gotten bad since Sarah left. They’re rushing through chapters and it’s really hard to follow the story and their conversation when they’ve covering multiple chapters in an episode instead of diving into each chapter. They also are not as focused on the actual book and get sidetracked on tangents and jokes with their patrons. It’s not fun to listen to anymore.

I only read ACOTAR because I listened to these ladies HP podcast and had FOMO. I listened to the intro episode and was like welp gotta listen/read to these now. I love the details and them bringing things up that I didn’t notice or think about. Great work!

It’s ok

I love this podcast because of the hosts. Their personalities, the chemistry of their friendship, and their thoughtful analysis of books has me rushing to listen each time an episode drops. They’ll make you enjoy the books you love even more, whether it’s ACOTAR or Harry Potter!

Great first episode. So excited to explore a new series with swish ❤️ I am going to start reading the series tomorrow after I pickup the book from target. I hope to fall in love with the book series.
