For a Blazers centric podcast, Casey and Brooke talk about themselves way to much.

Podcasters should understand that talking too fast is disrespectful and rude to an audience. I used to listen to all of these podcasts but it’s like listening to Alvin the chipmunk on steroids. Casey, before you put the headset on, take a chill pill! Unfortunately, the content is really good and Brooke offers a lot of class. So it’s as hard to listen to the podcast as not!

Long time listener and I appreciate getting to know what you guys are like besides reporting on the blazers, but twenty mins? I almost switched to something else, and in general I'm not listening to every episode like I used to because it’s taking to long to reach the basketball talk. Seriously I think you guys are great otherwise!

First off I love the podcast. Such a likable, energetic and well-informed pair. Both Brooke and Casey are so friendly and engaging that I listen to every episode. HOWEVER, Brooke needs to do some sound treatment in her room. The echo is distracting and sometimes it’s hard to understand what she’s saying. The echo is also fatiguing on the ears. A blanket against the wall would serve well. Otherwise I love you guys. 5 stars!

A quality Blazers podcast sprinkled with some occasional lighthearted humor? Yes please. I like the balance between Casey's straightforwardness to what he sees on the court and Brooke's energy and love for the team (huge fan Brooke). Having a good relationship with the players and coaches have helped them bring insight into what's going on, something that is lacking in other podcasts.

Can you please get the blazers to buy both of you a hood microphone?

Great job over the years and bummed that the Oregonian couldn’t leave well enough alone.

As a Blazer fan living outside of Oregon for the last 9 years, it’s been tough to get blazers news. But for the last 7 years I’ve had the ability to keep up with everything going on because of Joe and Casey. This podcast has meant so much to me and brought me an immeasurable amount of joys. Weather it was keeping me company on dog walks, road trips or just an escape from reality, it’s been there. It’s very bitter sweet to see this come to an end. In all honesty, it made me emotional when I got so excited to see a new episode pop up and to read that it’s the final episode. I don’t use Twitter so I had no idea it was coming. There were a few tears today as I walked my dog and remembered the times I’ve spent with Casey and Joe, even though they have no idea who I am. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much guys. You’ll never know how much this really meant to me.

PRESUMABLY FINAL UPDATE: This was a great podcast. Casey and Joe talked about the Blazers, about Portland, and about things that irked and amused them. At some point either Casey stopped mumbling or Joe stopped bellowing. It was quite a journey. It brought me a lot of enjoyment over a number of years, and I’m sad that it’s over. UPDATE: Continued excellence in podcasting. My favorite new feature is the segment called "Defending How Much Time We Spend Not Talking About Basketball." I have my fingers crossed that one day Joe and Casey will spend an entire hour on the subject. Please make it happen! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Although I like mayonnaise and organic produce quite a bit, I am still able to enjoy this podcast. Also, I am posting a review because the streak of consecutive weekly releases has apparently come to an end, and not having a new episode this week is making me sadder than I’d expected.

I cannot praise about this podcast enough. I was not a podcast listener before I discovered the Rip City Report, but the hosts’ charming casual style of commentary combined with their great professional insight made this podcast a joy to listen to and was something I anxiously waited for each week. It’s sad they will no longer be producing content due to reasons outside of their control. I’ve lost my favorite source of Blazers media and discussion, but I’m so thankful that I was able to enjoy Casey and Joe's insight into my favorite team for these past couple years. It’s only right that I finally leave that 5 star review they fully deserve. Not sure if anyone will read this, but know that if the Rip City Report ever returns, I’ll be listening to that comeback episode as soon as it drops.

Great blazers podcast, I appreciate the fact that they are not full on blazers homers, meaning they have a realistic view of the good and the bad. Also a solid understanding of the area and history, great pod keep it up guys, thanks!

This is smart and honest blazers talk. This is not the type of sports coverage filled with blowhards listening to themselves talk. Joe and Casey try to step back from the hype and y’all about what is working and not working with the blazers performance. Like listening to your friends talk, if your friends were completely obsessed with and had genius level memory for blazers minutia. Keep up the good work guys :)

There are only three voices you need to know when it comes to the Blazers — Holdahl, Freeman, and Quick. On the Rip City Report, you get two of them, and they never disappoint. Keep it up, fellas!

If you like sports talk radio, with its ex-jocks gurgling hot takes into damp microphones for a hungover listenership…well this is not the podcast for you. Casey: kind but world-weary, tells it like it is, grumpy in a “b*d*ss with a heart of gold” sort of way. You’d want him on your side in a fight. Joe: the grind of the beat “beat” the fan out of him years ago. Not moving to the suburbs. Genial, west-coast urbane. Best Blazers podcast.

Casey and Joe put on a great show by not only knowing their stuff about the Blazers, but by having genuine chemistry and quirky quips between the two of them. They make the information easy to digest and most importantly- they are entertaining. Here guys, have all of my 5 star reviews!

These guys messed around and got a quadruple dub. Yes, that’s right. A quadruple double. Hands down the best Blazers podcast and the only sports podcast I listen to. Casey and Joe provide the perfect ratio of Blazers to real world talk and banter you could ask for. Not to mention all of the incredible work they do outside of this podcast. I wish there was more content with these two involved in it. I’m greedy. So what?

I would highly recommend this podcast for anyone who knows Blazers basketball and wants to hear the truth about the ongoing is said arena. Casey and Joe are fixtures in PDX, and as a super fan I’m stoked to have this podcast to keep me up to date on what’s up and what’s happening. I watch the games and appreciate having a crew to let me know what’s actually happening on the floor and in the locker rom. 10 out of 10 in a 5 out of 5 rating system.

My favorite Blazer’s Podcast. Not only do I enjoy their incite I appreciate their sense of humor. Even when I throw Casey some shade about walking through a drive-thru they take it in stride.

As a trailblazer fan in Virginia this Rip City Report is a must keep up the Blazers on the East Coast is not easy.

Shortly after moving to the PNW, I became a Blazers fan by listening to this podcast. It complements Joe’s coverage on oregonlive.com and Casey’s content on blazers.com, with a lot of opinions on the team’s performance. I also enjoy the banter. They have deep knowledge on the Blazers and the NBA. The podcast has a lot of depth, usually clocking in at an hour or so. It’s a must-listen.
