jrances1Too muchFor a Blazers centric podcast, Casey and Brooke talk about themselves way to much.
-
playday riderCasey… slow down!!Podcasters should understand that talking too fast is disrespectful and rude to an audience. I used to listen to all of these podcasts but it’s like listening to Alvin the chipmunk on steroids. Casey, before you put the headset on, take a chill pill! Unfortunately, the content is really good and Brooke offers a lot of class. So it’s as hard to listen to the podcast as not!

Astew9Big fan! Please cut back on the warm up chatter!Long time listener and I appreciate getting to know what you guys are like besides reporting on the blazers, but twenty mins? I almost switched to something else, and in general I'm not listening to every episode like I used to because it’s taking to long to reach the basketball talk. Seriously I think you guys are great otherwise!
-
adlaialexLove it! But…First off I love the podcast. Such a likable, energetic and well-informed pair. Both Brooke and Casey are so friendly and engaging that I listen to every episode. HOWEVER, Brooke needs to do some sound treatment in her room. The echo is distracting and sometimes it’s hard to understand what she’s saying. The echo is also fatiguing on the ears. A blanket against the wall would serve well. Otherwise I love you guys. 5 stars!
-
tmonkeypunchVery well balancedA quality Blazers podcast sprinkled with some occasional lighthearted humor? Yes please. I like the balance between Casey's straightforwardness to what he sees on the court and Brooke's energy and love for the team (huge fan Brooke). Having a good relationship with the players and coaches have helped them bring insight into what's going on, something that is lacking in other podcasts.
-
hoss the rustlerMics! Can you please get the blazers to buy both of you a hood microphone?
-
blazerbrosephBoo the OregonianCanceling this podcast is a horrible editorial decision. It rules and Freeman and Holdahl rule
-
TubenutsSad to see this show endGreat job over the years and bummed that the Oregonian couldn’t leave well enough alone.

seani_tsunamiEasily one of my favorite podcasts of all time.As a Blazer fan living outside of Oregon for the last 9 years, it’s been tough to get blazers news. But for the last 7 years I’ve had the ability to keep up with everything going on because of Joe and Casey. This podcast has meant so much to me and brought me an immeasurable amount of joys. Weather it was keeping me company on dog walks, road trips or just an escape from reality, it’s been there. It’s very bitter sweet to see this come to an end. In all honesty, it made me emotional when I got so excited to see a new episode pop up and to read that it’s the final episode. I don’t use Twitter so I had no idea it was coming. There were a few tears today as I walked my dog and remembered the times I’ve spent with Casey and Joe, even though they have no idea who I am. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much guys. You’ll never know how much this really meant to me.

Moe XanaxYou will be missed! The best podcast in my feed. Period point blank.

His Majesty TheInformative and amusing, or vice versaPRESUMABLY FINAL UPDATE: This was a great podcast. Casey and Joe talked about the Blazers, about Portland, and about things that irked and amused them. At some point either Casey stopped mumbling or Joe stopped bellowing. It was quite a journey. It brought me a lot of enjoyment over a number of years, and I’m sad that it’s over. UPDATE: Continued excellence in podcasting. My favorite new feature is the segment called "Defending How Much Time We Spend Not Talking About Basketball." I have my fingers crossed that one day Joe and Casey will spend an entire hour on the subject. Please make it happen! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Although I like mayonnaise and organic produce quite a bit, I am still able to enjoy this podcast. Also, I am posting a review because the streak of consecutive weekly releases has apparently come to an end, and not having a new episode this week is making me sadder than I’d expected.

Blazers AlWas the Best Podcast EverI cannot praise about this podcast enough. I was not a podcast listener before I discovered the Rip City Report, but the hosts’ charming casual style of commentary combined with their great professional insight made this podcast a joy to listen to and was something I anxiously waited for each week. It’s sad they will no longer be producing content due to reasons outside of their control. I’ve lost my favorite source of Blazers media and discussion, but I’m so thankful that I was able to enjoy Casey and Joe's insight into my favorite team for these past couple years. It’s only right that I finally leave that 5 star review they fully deserve. Not sure if anyone will read this, but know that if the Rip City Report ever returns, I’ll be listening to that comeback episode as soon as it drops.
-
Biodynamic I nsGreat podcast! Go blazers!!!Great blazers podcast, I appreciate the fact that they are not full on blazers homers, meaning they have a realistic view of the good and the bad. Also a solid understanding of the area and history, great pod keep it up guys, thanks!
-
RipCityReppKnowledgeable and inviting Blazers coverageThis is smart and honest blazers talk. This is not the type of sports coverage filled with blowhards listening to themselves talk. Joe and Casey try to step back from the hype and y’all about what is working and not working with the blazers performance. Like listening to your friends talk, if your friends were completely obsessed with and had genius level memory for blazers minutia. Keep up the good work guys :)
-
DrunkenyeknomLiterally only leaving a review to yell at Casey...For not correcting Joe whenever he says “Javal McGee” That is all. Love listening to the pod. Go Rip City and BEAT LA
-
markhaze81Best Blazer podcastLove the knowledge of the Blazers and your non bias take on the Blazers and over all a great podcast and always look forward to the next
-
/hamburger lover//Best Blazers Breakdown n BanterCasey and Joe are my goto source for Portland Trailblazers pre season and post game discussion and analysis. Using a lighthearted conversational approach you’ll get an inside take on players, game reviews, the Blazers organization, and other useful semi-random knowledge... keep it coming, there’s no reason to stress about running the clock Joe. S. Brick

JGG1985Two of the best with your Blazers knowledgeThere are only three voices you need to know when it comes to the Blazers — Holdahl, Freeman, and Quick. On the Rip City Report, you get two of them, and they never disappoint. Keep it up, fellas!

MoodwringThe Rip City Red HOT tsss PodcastIf you like sports talk radio, with its ex-jocks gurgling hot takes into damp microphones for a hungover listenership…well this is not the podcast for you. Casey: kind but world-weary, tells it like it is, grumpy in a “b*d*ss with a heart of gold” sort of way. You’d want him on your side in a fight. Joe: the grind of the beat “beat” the fan out of him years ago. Not moving to the suburbs. Genial, west-coast urbane. Best Blazers podcast.

LuckyGladstoneGanderI’m a Sport-O Now!Casey and Joe put on a great show by not only knowing their stuff about the Blazers, but by having genuine chemistry and quirky quips between the two of them. They make the information easy to digest and most importantly- they are entertaining. Here guys, have all of my 5 star reviews!
-
rickybellsA corner stone of Blazer’s fandomCasey and Jo-jo’s podcast legitimately enhances the experience of being a Blazers fan. Great pod. Informative, insightful & entertaining. All the good things. Thanks for bringing us closer to our beloved Portland Trail blazers.
-
AlexDoomAll the 5 start review...Great content and personalities. Uploading a podcast after a 6pm game in the bubble during a quarantine is on a whole other level. Thanks dudes 🙏
-
Ant_honysA show about the Blazers and sometimes Fried ChickenCasey & Joe are the one-two punch you need for your Blazer Basketball and Great conversation.
-
m4mcclain1,977 out of 5 stars! These guys messed around and got a quadruple dub. Yes, that’s right. A quadruple double. Hands down the best Blazers podcast and the only sports podcast I listen to. Casey and Joe provide the perfect ratio of Blazers to real world talk and banter you could ask for. Not to mention all of the incredible work they do outside of this podcast. I wish there was more content with these two involved in it. I’m greedy. So what?
-
crisptwundoGreat for Blazers fansThese dudes are fantastic and knowledgeable. It’s a treat to get to listen to so much content about our team tucked up in a small market. Thanks y’all. Also don’t let some ding dong named under armor gamer stop you from expressing yourself. Sometimes politics and basketball intersect and that’s why I love it.
-
three of us whoShameSpreading hate and lie!!! Supporting the protests means that they are supporting terrorist organization black lives matter who of which killing cops and beating up disabled people.not only that Portland are not peacefully protes they were also tell us top shut up and listen another anti America slogan.do not let these mental patients tell you about anything about anything unless it's the trail blazers
-
Delo503All of my 5 star reviews!Big fan of the pod. Great Blazers insight. Politics shouldn’t play a role in a review. Still 5 star worthy. Keep it up.
-
Jordan FermenickCasey and JoeThese guys seem like great dudes. They make the week just a little bit better.
-
JungdwellerThanks guys!Just listened to the episode you recorded the same day but prior to everything getting postponed/cancelled...was nice to take a break from the COVID-19 coverage and imagine there was an important game tonight and the Nurkic return game on Sunday. Anyway love the analysis as always! Brian M

then verse nowPlease make more! It’s such a good podcast but they haven’t done a podcast in a year. Please more
-
Black Horse RanchIt’s grown on meI’ll be honest - I wasn’t very impressed at first. But then I listened to all the other pods that cover the Blazers, and the Rip City Report is the clear winner. Been listening for over a year now, and try to hit the new ones at my first opportunity. Nice job guys! You’ve gotten all my five star reviews! Keep up the good work!
-
dirtysturdyThanks for the PodEnjoy the podcast. Appreciate your fair and honest views on the team. Great banter, great segments. Listen to every episode when I am on the road. Keep up the good work.
-
Jakeswab746All of my 5 starsI listen to every episode, I appreciate the honest and realistic opinions. I also feel like these guys are more than just spectators expressing their opinions, they travel with the team and clearly have insight that other podcasters just don’t have. My favorite Blazers podcast!
-
MistyN BlazerFanMore Blazers info than you can shake a stick at!Great podcast! Are you a Portland Trail Blazers fan? Do you want all of the Blazers info and some friendly, amusing commentary? Then this podcast is for you! Joe and Casey always tell it like it is, give the latest rundown on the team, and provide interesting insights to the players themselves. I love this team and I love these podcasts. It’s usually over an hour long… but that is, actually, a bonus because that means that they ALWAYS answer all of the questions from Twitter - even my fairly silly ones. Thanks guys!
-
AJH215 Star “Tsssstt!”Listener from Illinois - Staying in the loop is just easier when listening to this podcast. I enjoy the perspective and the listener Q&A. Thankful to Casey and Joe for continuing this podcast through a busy season.
-
anon888888888Listener from Richmond, VaThis is the best podcast around and given that none of my friends here in Virginia like the Blazers, you guys feel like family just hearing someone else offer opinions about the team. You guys have a great connection and flow that makes this podcast super easy to listen to on the road. Keep up the great work! “Hello boys and girls...” is my favorite line of every week!
-
T-paintInteractive PodcastLove the fact the hosts reach out and actually answer questions submitted. Very entertaining back and forth with a personal flair. Feel like I better know Casey and Joe as they share personal perspective about basketball but also aren’t shy about places they go in town with spouse and family. Really look forward to each week’s podcast and you should too!

toomuchtoughluckSponsored by Tough Luck?If it’s a sponsor, I get it, but if not, maybe not bring it up every 15 minutes. I always fast forward when I start hearing the advertising. And now I will never go there.

bolonuts“Best podcast intro...ever!”“Hello boys and girls, I am...”. I’ve been listening to you for a long time and that intro puts a smile on my face every time I listen to you guys. Even when Joe lost his voice from screaming, like the rest of us, when the Blazers weren’t doing so well a few weeks ago. Joe and Casey, you are both professionals at what you do. Keep up the great work. Chris B. From Beaverton

HollajogThese guys know Blazers basketballI would highly recommend this podcast for anyone who knows Blazers basketball and wants to hear the truth about the ongoing is said arena. Casey and Joe are fixtures in PDX, and as a super fan I’m stoked to have this podcast to keep me up to date on what’s up and what’s happening. I watch the games and appreciate having a crew to let me know what’s actually happening on the floor and in the locker rom. 10 out of 10 in a 5 out of 5 rating system.
-
TxhcsA Blazers stapleGreat coverage, with just the right amount of fun. Ideal for a guy who can’t catch every Blazers game, but has a dog that needs walking.
-

@jackparshallBest Blazers PodcastMy favorite Blazer’s Podcast. Not only do I enjoy their incite I appreciate their sense of humor. Even when I throw Casey some shade about walking through a drive-thru they take it in stride.
-
catrenzerI’d give them 10 stars if I could!Great content and solid studio sound quality = Recipe for a podcast excellence. I’ve listened to many Trail Blazers podcasts, and this is one of only two I listen to regularly. Love the ability to submit questions. Thanks for all you do!
-

-
howdychefThis is a great showI love this show. Great commentary, great insights.
-
BlazersJamesInformative and entertainingShortly after moving to the PNW, I became a Blazers fan by listening to this podcast. It complements Joe’s coverage on oregonlive.com and Casey’s content on blazers.com, with a lot of opinions on the team’s performance. I also enjoy the banter. They have deep knowledge on the Blazers and the NBA. The podcast has a lot of depth, usually clocking in at an hour or so. It’s a must-listen.
