    Good show
I can never see a picture of the hosts of the show because it will dispel my mental image that they're all car dealership arm waving inflatable tube people.

    Freaking legit!!
Dig the content and the cast is hilarious!

    Much better without the politics
I've only listened to a couple since Patrick left but much better without the political crap. What's sad is I really did like Patrick's pov on games but he'd ruin the whole show with unnecessary commentary. The other pegs are great as always and I hope to be back for good!

One of the best podcasts period
I’ve been listening to podcasts for years, many many years. Not a huge music fan, I’d personally always rather be learning something. Yeah, psycho, I know lol. So day one when podcasts were created it was a gift from the heavens for me. So, all that to say I’ve listened to A LOT of podcasts. These dudes right here, have maybe created the single greatest podcast ever. Never before has the balance been struck so well with humor and expertise. Anyone and their dog can talk about board games. But can you do it well? Do you actually know what you’re talking about? Can you keep us engaged and is it natural? Sadly too many times podcasters go the route of morning FM Radio DJ to be funny or entertaining. Not here, what is here is natural. You genuinely feel like you’re sitting down listening in on some good friends talk about games and have a good time. This show is, simply put, not just the best board games podcast out there, but maybe one of the best podcasts ever made.

    Top Quality Boardgame Podcast
Been listening for years. The hosts feel like old friends even though we’ve never met. High quality content, always entertaining.

    The negative reviews are baffling
Hands down one of the best board game podcasts. Don’t listen to the naysayers, nobody misses them anyway.

    Great show!
I’m a Trevor and I endorse this show as being great even if they make fun of my name.

    More Politics Need
More Politics needed. I find this Politic podcast is far to board game and the relationships in between related. More Politics please. Minimum 95%. I need the hosts to eat, sleep, breath political sciences. Go back to college and get a Doctorate in Political Sciences.

    My Favorite Board Gaming Podcast
I've listened consistently to BPPP for years; checking out several other board game podcasts but have always kept BPPP as my top choice. It's never been a pure tabletop gaming only pod and it never set out to be given their mantra of being about the intersection between play and relationships. I came for the board game talk, but ultimately stayed because of the people behind the mics.

    They had to add politics
I was listening to this podcast for boardgaming, not toxic politics. -1 listener🤷🏿‍♂️

    Great family friendly show
Most of the time when I listen to podcasts I am dropping kids off at school or driving them to other activities. It’s nice to listen to a podcast that is very entertaining yet family friendly at the same time. I would give them a six peg rating but apparently I have to use stars here. I would highly recommend. It’s my #1 go to podcast that I listen to.

    Best gaming podcast I’ve found
I love when I get the notification that a new BPPP episode has released. It immediately gets picked as the next thing I listen to even if I was in the middle of another show. Great personalities and great analysis.

Good Board Game Podcast - leave the politics out
Unfortunately they found it necessary to cast their political views into the show notes.

    Great Gaming Podcast
Have been listening to the podcast for years now and really enjoy it. I have a long commute and they are one of the podcasts that get me through it. I was upset to see one star reviews that seem to pick apart a certain aspect and give it one star. I think that seems unfair as they clearly put a lot of work and produce a quality podcast. I feel like it is harsh to say that it is 1 Star if it is just not for you! They all have all fun personalities (sometimes a bit energetic for my early morning drive but it keeps me alert haha). I enjoy when they get a little distracted since I feel like if the podcast was only to the point of reviewing games you would loose the ability to feel like you know them. Anyway I would highly recommend you give it a listen if you like board games.

    Great Show everytime!
IMO one of the best boardgame podcast out there. You do great at mixing together how life is going with what games are getting to table. Always walk away from the show with at least one game writen down I want to check out.
  • wolfpelt
    Make them shorter
Podcasts are a great way to pass the time during a commute. Commutes on average are 30 to 60 minutes long. Please make the podcasts no more than 2 hours in length.... Interesting insight but lots of fluff that could be cut out.

    Quality Entertainment, Quality People
Great reviews, hilarious commentary, great discussions, and of course great trivia and tangents!

    Lost charm
Update: when Patrick left the running joke became RIP for several episodes, on social media, etc. The comedy got worse and outweighs any good content. Either you’re 100% bought into their world and styles or it’s a waste. — original review — Patrick’s continual attempts at humor (including booth babes, not a comedic topic for the industry) are more and more off base and annoying. The episodes are getting longer and longer but it’s as much laughing and entertaining themselves as relevant content.

    Falling off
Disenchanted. It’s sad (for me) that one of the best gaming podcasts became so entrenched in ideology. Mostly subliminal but sometimes more than that. I used to listen to every episode but now I don’t listen to any. And, honestly, I don’t miss it.
  • italianbreadman
    Obnoxious, try-hard personalities
The vibe here is too obnoxious and trying too hard to be funny. Kind of like myself at 8-10 years old. They also don’t have very nuanced opinions of games and fail to convey anything meaningful in their reviews.
  • willcsf
    Great, but.
Great podcast, however Patrick is more than a bit know-it- all, talk over everyone else person.
  • t-dog 07
    So entertaining
The format and cohost chemistry is terrific. It’s such a service to people curious about the hobby or for hardcore gamers.

    Favorite Gaming Podcast
I have been listening to Blue Peg, Pink Peg for over three years now and it is by far my favorite podcast to listen to. Some of the more negative reviews said that it was too long and they didn’t talk about games enough. Neither of those thing are true! When you’re hanging out with friends laughing and enjoying yourself you never think ‘wow, all this fun I’m having is taking too long.’ And that’s how I feel about the length and topics of this podcast. Every time those 2ish hours are over I’m both immediately satisfied with the information and entertainment I’ve received, and sad that I have to wait two weeks for a new one. One of the best compliments I can give is that every time I’ve bought a game because of this podcast it’s always been a hit and I have never been disappointed. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend this more.
  • jaetill
    Great balance and chemistry
My bottom line, is that this is my favorite podcast in the genre. I appreciate similar podcasts, their take on games, their humor, etc...but I feel like I’m listening to people that I want to hang out with when I listen to BPPP. I almost always game with family or couples. I rarely have an all guys crowd, so the composition applies to more of my game nights, and who I would be considering when bringing games to the table. My wife probably wouldn’t call her self a gamer, but she loves almost every game we buy (not so much Coup) she enjoyed certain web series with me, and I’m pretty sure she would like this podcast, particularly the last 2/3 of each show. I love having a female perspective. I like the indirect commentary on life itself, such as family, value of people, etc. I just started listening recently, and wish I wasn’t so far behind since I would have loved to have been discussing some of their topics in forums, when they were just posted. Thanks for the efforts you guys put into this production. I am sure it is time consuming.

Love everything except the 20 minutes of intro
Been listening for years and it’s a great podcast with a solid viewpoint; however they get off topic way too easily. And you might need to essentially fast forward up to 20 full minutes past the never ending intro/contest/trivia/ banter.
  • crhill1979
    Wayyyy too long
I had to give up on this one, as the podcasts are each 2.5-3 hours long. In one recent episode, I checked the timestamp and it was 41 minutes into the show before they actually talked about a game they played. While it is valuable to get to know the hosts in order to see whether their tastes match up with yours, I don't need 45 minutes - 1 hour each episode about their time hanging out with their friends, the bourbon they drink, and their other extracurricular activities. The hosts are mostly fine except they style themselves as improv comedy artists, which led to one truly horrible episode where they tried to do audio improv comedy about board games. Thankfully they took the negative feedback to heart and didn't repeat that endeavor, but unless I hear they've found an aggressive editor, I won't be coming back to this one.

    Four years later, even greater
One of the best board gaming podcasts. Hype balanced with honest meh reviews after several plays. Interesting discussion every few weeks and some hidden meta within the community. Probably started listening to this gaming podcast late into year one. Changes have come to their lives, but that has been a part of the journey. Open about some real struggles as people and gamers, but still keep laughing. Join the peg heads and add this to your podcast lineup.

    So Much Interrupting!!!
This is a really good, well put together board gaming podcast, and I'd enjoy listening to it more except for one thing: one of the hosts (Patrick) CONSTANTLY interrupts the other hosts! I think he believes he's helping to move the conversation along and keep the energy up, but it's maddening when he introduces another host to speak on a topic then immediately interrupts them! Often I can't get through the entire episode because I find this so annoying. But like I said, otherwise it's a pretty good podcast and one of the few with a female point of view as well as the typical male. If Patrick could reign it in a bit it could be great!

    One of the Best
BPPP is an enjoyable listen and I am always glad to see it pop up in my feed. The hosts have a fun relationship that makes you feel as though you are sitting at the table and bantering alongside them.

    Good times
I like BPPP. They get serious when needed, but also screw around sometimes which I like. Excellent podcast, except it would be nice if Droopy Dog would be a little enthusiastic sometimes.

    Sweet, Sweet Boardgame Goodness
This is one of my favorite gaming podcasts. Such a great group dynamic, plenty of laughs, and lots of good, in-depth board game discussion. It makes me sad that I went to college just down the road from them (go Hokies!) and had no idea that I was just a hop and a skip away from the Pegs... because I think it would be a blast to play with them. Go subscribe. Now. Seriously. Doooo iiiitttttt.

    Best Board Game Podcast
This is my favorite podcast about board games! I really enjoy the enthusiasm each person has, and they always keep me entertained. They talk about a great variety of games both old and new, and I am laughing all the time! Wonderful show!

    A Review Long Overdue
The title says it all. I've been listening to the podcast for several years now, but I never review things on Itunes....ever. However, the quality of this podcast begs for a review. No matter your interests in the Board Gaming hobby, you can find value from this podcast. Entertanment abounds, jokes and quotable sayings abound, while the chemistry between the members is very clear despite the varried tastes in gaming. You will find usful information on a wide variety of board games, including the lastest hottness. Discussions surrounding the hobby of gaming also provide insights into the hosts, as well as the awesome triva and musical interludes that give this show a destinct flair. I've had the opportunity to meet most of the Pegs, and they are just as awesome as when they are on air. They are open and honest when doing their podcast, and if you ever get the chance to meet them you will feel like you've already gotten to know them. Keep up the awesome content guys! -Proud Peghead JJ

    Fun and hilarious podcast
Been listening for over a year now and pretty much started from the beginning. Listening to episode 100 had me howling in the car and I had a permanent smile the whole commute home. It made me realize how much FUN I have had listening to them. With that being said their reviews are informative even if I don't always agree with their ratings. I actually like their shorter game overviews in the beginning better and I've found many great games that way. The reroll is fun but usually they don't change their rating all that much. The topics at the end are great and they actually use bumper music which I don't see on many other podcasts. All in all a great podcast about board games that is a ton of fun to listen to. Keep it up!

    I tried
I've tried to like this podcast, but one person consistently ruins it for me. He tries to make the podcast all about himself, louder than anyone else, interrupts and shuts down others when they are speaking, feels it's his role to entertain and tries way too hard. Recently he took his "Me" approach to a new level by repeatedly suggesting that listeners come up with a new name for him. While I have gotten some useful information from this podcast, more often than not it's at the expense of being really annoyed.
  • BioSludge
Enjoy the show don't bother with the contests
Love listening to the show but Patrick's contests get 1 out of 6 pegs. Contests should be fun and not work. I could work an additional hour at work to make enough money to just buy the item up for grabs instead of wasting 2 to 3 hours of not getting paid for a chance to get something. The contests aren't worth the time, effort, and they don't meet the return on investment.

    The Best Gaming Podcast
Blue Peg Pink Peg is by far the best gaming podcast. The hosts are relatable, funny, and smart, and their banter feels adult, even when they are nerding out about things. Lately, the tone has become very sarcastic - often at the expense of poor Patrick. Perhaps they can work on their "Yes, and..." technique instead of exploding with ridicule every minute, but that's a minor critique and hardly worth docking any stars for. I look forward to every new episode and recommend it to anyone I can.

Pound for pound, one of my favorite podcasts.
Awesome podcast. Great chemistry. Quirky, self aware humor. Well informed. I love it.

    Love This Show!
I started listening to BPPP almost two years ago and instantly became a member of the Peg-head nation! I have listened to every episode released since. Great chemistry among the hosts. These guys are fun, hilarious, and in touch with the board game community! I enjoy and respect their variety of taste in games and have bought several games that I enjoy based on their recommendations. Highly recommend this show!

These guys are fun to listen to
I always am excited when I see these guys have posted a new pod cast. Great chemistry, very informative and honest. They have a real passion for the hobby and it comes out in the pod cast. I know this is a lot of work to put together a show like this. Keep it up!! Great job!
  • TheGrayhawk
    Great gaming podcast!
I am a long-time boardgamer and am always looking for perspectives on new titles. The "Pegs" (aka the hosts) give a sufficiently diverse set of opinions and perspectives on the games they talk about and review that I get a very good feel for not only how I will like the games, but also how the rest of my family will enjoy them. In fact, I sometimes find myself wishing thus show was around 8 or 10 years ago when my kids were younger, as they would have given me great insight into games I could play with them. Thanks for making my commute easier. Keep up the great work! (That includes the "Reroll" songs!)

    Not to different than me.
I love this podcast. It's right up my alley. I am an ex magic player! Can't get wife to play jack along those lines. Love Cthulhu games. And have the same likes and problems. Great gaming advice and game picks for someone that has a 14 and 12 year old daughters. The dynamics and laughing at bad jokes. Thanks for doing such a great podcast that I look forward too. Also please no more re-roll songs haha.

The Best Board Game Review Podcast Available
I have listened to every episode of this podcast. I have tried all the other major board gaming podcasts, and I feel they just don't talk as much about GAMES and how awesome they are! Patrick, Rob, Jeremy, and Christina get me excited to buy new games, and my amazon wish list is full of games I can't wait to eventually buy and play. They talk about how games would appeal to hardcore gamers, casual friends, spouses, even their kids. Their opinions are entertaining to listen to, and leave you with a great sense of the game and whether it was fun or not. I am amazed at the friendship their game group displays on on the podcast. They are not afraid to voice different opinions on a game, and respect each other enough to let those points stand on their own as a difference of opinion. The bottom line is that this group's passion for gaming feels consistently fresh and exciting. They bring a ton of content about games to the table without letting the podcast be consumed by banter (looking at you Secret Cabal). BPPP is charming, informative, and covers a great breadth of opinions that will help you guage whether a game is the right fit for you or your play group. Keep up the good work, I look forward to hearing more :)
  • SurferDude47
    Worth a listen
It is clear they put a lot of effort into the presentation and it shows. Contests are too complicated though. It's not enough to just listen to the show? No, I have to do a homework assignment first ... too busy for such nonesense!
  • WolfpackerNC
    Quality Reviews and Quality Banter
The banter among the pegs is great - they clearly like each other and also have no problem giving each other a hard time. And I love the variety of opinions. Many podcasts have "group" reviews where they either all like a game or all hate it. The 4 pegs frequently have varying opinions which is far more valuable. One peg frequently even has a split personality, providing 5 ratings from 4 people for each game reviewed!

    Favorite gaming podcast
This is my favorite podcast. The back and forth between the hosts draws you in and you feel like they are old friends. The added perspective having a family interactions focus is different than most podcasts out there, but they can also get down to the brass tax of deep games.
