Tell Me What Happened

162

Every day we wake up not knowing exactly what will happen. A hike up a mountain or a float down a river can turn dangerous. A night out in a faraway land can end in the bottom of a ravine. A simple hug can save a life. And strangers can turn into heroes.Tell Me What Happened, the award-winning original podcast by OnStar, returns for a fifth season of stories about people helping people. Each episode also includes a conversation with an expert to provide context and advice about what to do if you find yourself in a dangerous situation.

    Awesome podcast!
I came across this by accident and it’s been riveting. What a great idea to connect the concept of OnStar with these life changing situations. I did think it was interesting that every expert they had at the end of each episode was female. Not sure if there was a reason/strategy behind that? I just thought it a little bit odd but the information was great. I am looking forward to future episodes!

We need more of this vibe in the universe
I love these stories. All based on love. Finding a groove and shedding issues. I love how people identify their connections and find value and support in experiences. Much appreciated how to look for patterns.

    Need a lift? LISTEN!
This podcast is a breath of fresh air!!! I love the format- real people telling their stories with moderate narration from the host. Every story is riveting! The bonds and friendships and connections made between those in need of help and those providing the help will move you to tears and fill you with love & hope. Each episode ends with insight from an expert relevant to the emergency situation, giving listeners valuable survival tips and tricks. The best of this podcast format. Give it a listen.

    Touching stories
These are good stories and short enough for my children to even listen to them while in the car. I preview to make sure they aren’t too graphic or traumatic sounding and will pick the ones I think they will learn and enjoy. My children are preteen and older so I feel like it’s a good fit: inspiring, educational and entertaining. I love the beginning intro in which the narrator/host reminds us that everyday we might be a person in need of help or the one able to help. A great reminder for us all. Good job, Onstar!

    OnStar infomercial?
I’m only listen to one so far. I had to stop and replay the part where Jill sends out a message and a local stranger responds? I was wondering what app does that. Then at the end it talks about OnStar. Is it me or is this whole thing at all these Reeves? It is produced by OnStar? Of course it is. I looked it up online and it I can start my OnStar trial. So this is nothing but an advertisement. Are the stories even real?

Interesting stories sometimes made boring when their woke world view is needlessly inserted.

    Human trafficking story wildly incomplete
What about his family?!! Does his Mom and brothers know he’s alive?!! Are they in the U.S.A. now too? Are they safe?!! What about the perpetrators?!! Were they convicted?

    More Please
Every single episode had me crying knowing that grace and kindness still exists amongst us. These encounters are so scary, challenging and necessary yet remind us that we are not alone in this world and we must engage with one another to coexist. Thank you so much for this reminder that not all great podcasts have to do with serial killers and getting rich.

    Any of the episodes !
This is a fresh take on podcasts , I love hearing g stories of strangers putting their neck out to help someone in need. Normal everyday people showing human compassion for a stranger in need. I love how the host talks to a professional at the end of show on ways the situation could of been improved - without judging the people who were put in tough situations that put their life at risk . I can’t wait for more episodes!! I’ve told many people about this wonderful podcast! I can’t pick favorite podcast- each story was moving and showed human compassion in different ways.
