    Absolutely Great!
Been listening since the start. I never knew there was so much depth to the romances in all the games I love playing. I never would have looked a in game romances they way I do now if it wasn't for this podcast. Jennasis and Vervada do a wonderful job at conveying all aspects of the different characters and their romances. The Patreon episodes are good entertainment too. The last episode almost had me on the floor because I was laughing so hard. My boss was eyeing me like I had finally lost my mind. Definitely makes a slow work day go by fast. Keep up the hard work. It's a great podcast. 100% Recommended!

    Can’t get enough!
Found this podcast from listening to the Mass Effect lorecast and had to come here next!! Just finished the Solas episode and you both had me in tears!! That romance was my first romance I ever experienced in a game since Dragon Age Inquisition was my introduction into the gaming world (Nintendo of the 90’s aside). Keep up the amazing work!!

    Amazing Podcasts With Lovable Hosts
This podcast covers a niche corner of the gaming experience with expertise and charm. The two hosts are witty, well spoken and have a great chemistry. The wide variety of games covered is fantastic, as well as the advocacy for good LGBTQ+ romance representation in role playing games. Personally, I think these hosts particularly did a great job breaking down Sera from Dragon Age’s romance. It was the first time I’ve ever seen content about Sera that wasn’t just tearing her down for the way she speaks, or how she expresses herself. The way the hosts read between the lines to break down character development and the chemistry between characters is masterful. I can’t wait to see where they go next and I hope this podcast continues to grow its audience because the hosts deserve more recognition. Great job!

    I didn’t want it to be over…
I’m going to be completely 100% honest: I only started listening to this podcast specifically for the Mass Effect episodes. I’ve listened to all of them and just like the ending of ME3, I didn’t want it to end…but thankfully the podcast itself continues on. The girls have definitely earned another fan in me and I will be checking out other episodes here soon, but until then…I should go. PS: Jack is the best romance option. You can not tell me otherwise (but I’m a dude and always play as BroShep).

    I ship it!
A very fun investigation of romances in video games with two hosts that feel like great friends. Love me some Bioware and other story-heavy games, and this scratches my itch for a feminist breakdown of the implications of those romances. Keep up the good work!

    Adore!
A must listen for anyone who loves the romance part of games. Or even just romance in general! The hosts are so fun to listen to & have so much respect & love for the characters they discuss. They also never shy away from exploring the nuance of characters that are typically disliked within the fandom. Which makes for wonderful critical convos & helps listeners view characters in different lights. 10/10 would recommend listening. You will not regret it!

Hosts are Friendly, easy to listen to, and informed.
This podcast is phenomenal, worth a listen if you like RPGs, and well put together. My favorite thing to do while working now is to put on an episode of this podcast, as it makes me feel like there’s a fun chat about something I’m passionate about going on around me. Sadly, I’ve binged this so too quickly and I have to wait for Monday for new episodes! However, because of your constant shout outs to the Mass Effect Lorecast, I’ve been binging that now too! Thank you for making my work nights so much better :)

    Really great podcast!
Just listened to the Leliana episode, and it’s me, I’m the one fangirling over Leliana. I love how your episodes are structured and y’all have great takes.

Love games with love? This is for you
I am appalled at myself for not reviewing before this. I've been listening to the podcast for several months now and the growth Virvada and Jennasis have undergone as hosts and content creators has amazed me. Their open-mindedness and in-depth analyses have changed my mind a few times on characters I thought I previously disliked. I'm also a cornball so being among friends and fellow nerds who also love the romance aspect of video games is really validating. So if you're looking for a great breakdown of your favorite romance or looking for new games to get addicted to, look no further.

Where has this been all my life?!?
This is PHENOMENAL. As a female gamer (and romantic) I am here for this! I’m more of a Bethesda girl (I’m still not over Darien Gautier in ESO 😭) but you ladies have encouraged me to check out some new games.) A thousand stars!

One of the hosts just said she'd live in the world of Cyberpunk if she could. You believe that?

    Such a fun podcast!
This is the podcast I didn’t know I needed! It’s nice to know that others get just as invested in video game relationships as I do! I appreciate the research that Jennasis and Virvada do for each episode, and the different perspectives they both bring to the podcast. The only problem is my list of characters to romance in future playthroughs keeps growing, but I know it will have to be Garrus again anyway. Thanks for bringing us this fun podcast!

The critical approach to gaming that I’ve longed for…
Too many times when I’ve tried out a show breaking down and discussing a favorite game, a few different scenarios come up. Some of the greatest hits: “It’s been a few years since I last played, but I think I remember…” Or this classic, “I (or my spouse) thought that character was boring (or mean), so I didn’t spend much time talking to them.” This show doesn’t suffer from any of those forms of sloppy analysis. This show takes the time to really unpack the details using actual lines and events from the game. They’re able to back up statements and cite their sources and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for in a podcast. It’s the story and lore of a video game that will keep me coming back for more. Over the years I’ve come to realize that the relationships of my player character are the most interesting parts of the story, the component that can change the tone and emotional impact of different scenes the most. I’m very glad that there’s a show giving these stories their due. The highest praise I can give this show is that while I normally crank through podcasts all day while I’m at work, I can go an entire shift without finishing a whole episode. There’s so much thought provoking material that I need to pause continuously so I can spend time in deep reflection before moving on. It’s incredible. I’m a little limited right now because I only want to hear the episodes for relationships I’ve experienced first hand. I need to get playing so I can listen in on more of the discussion. (Although there is one romance that I know is popular but I flat out don’t get… I really want to hear their take to see what new insights I can gain on the subject.) I love what these two women bring to the party, I’m hoping that they’ll eventually branch out into other subjects of the games (particularly Mass Effect) because they’re the best ones for the job that I’ve heard so far. Stop thinking about it, just download the first episode and give it a chance for yourself.

    Great show love you guys
Hey ladies, just finished your cyberpunk episode and you have officially convinced me to try this game. Spoilers do not deter me lol. Been listening to you guys for the last month or so and I love you guys. Your passion for the games and characters you talk about is inspiring and it’s nice to know there are other romance connoisseurs out there who live for the story and dig the action lol. Keep up the great work. You’re officially part of my Monday morning ritual. Can’t wait to hear more. Your new fan firesprite1123

    Awesome show
Jen and V do a fabulous job of breaking down the romances in my two favorite games series. It’s great to get a female aspect on these arcs in the games. The friendship between these two makes the show more fun to listen to. Keep up the great work!! Aka capt_lyle

A fabulous show in an underserved area
This show is great in several different ways. First, the hosts have a ton of chemistry and are clearly having a blast. That’s contagious, too, because it helps get guests in the mood and that keeps everything popping. And pop it does! There are a lot of romances in video games across the genre spectrum, but there’s surprisingly little discussion of them. This show more than makes up for that dearth of content, because they dive deep, and do so in a way that’s both fresh and fun. Bringing a female perspective to video games generally and to the romances in them specifically is also something that sets this show apart. But that doesn’t matter if the hosts or the show don’t execute for whatever reason; that’s not the case here, though - the Two Girls knock it out of the park every single time.

    A great podcast
A great look at the romances in video games! This podcast is a breath of fresh air, diving into a the sappy, lovey dovey, and sometimes nsfw side of some of my favorite video games. This podcast has truly enchanted my experience of the games I play, as i look at them from a romantic point of view. keep up the good work! -teecup

    A great new podcast!
I’m so enjoying this new podcast! Using a more feminist lens to look at video game romances is so refreshing in such a male-dominated industry. I’m so appreciative of Jennasis and Virvada, and can’t wait for more episodes!

    Finally someone is saying it!
Too long have I been a woman in the gaming space brushed off for my comments about the gaming romance scene by my fellow (mostly guy) gamer friends. They just never seemed to want to have the conversation, because to them games just “weren’t about that.” However, we live in a world where gaming is now one of the most original and unique forms of storytelling, and romance is and always will be an integral part of any story! Jennasis and Virvada offer a unique perspective and talk about the real stuff. They aren’t afraid to get into the details and analyze parts of in-game romances that no one else is talking about. It’s so refreshing and entertaining, and they often go on hilarious tangents that make me feel like I’m sitting around talking with my friends about these topics. Definitely lots of material for them to cover now, and I’m excited to see what they bring up in the future!
