    Great podcast
I’m a 35yr old male just started running a few years ago after suffering a major knee injury which ended my basketball (YMCA) career. This podcast is such a easy listen and very relatable I highly recommend this podcast!!! Keep running!!

    First Time Listener
Listened for the first time today. You were having a conversation with a woman from England talking about how one evolves as a runner and as an athlete as you age. Really enjoyed the conversation. I’m almost 55 and have dealt with a few injuries but I always find positivity in my recovery and reinvent myself as an athlete and recalibrate my goals and expectations. Looking forward to listening to your other episodes. Keep up the great work!

    Love this podcast!
My name is Jenny I started running when I turned 44. I originally started to lose weight and lost 50lbs and now almost one year later I run 7 days a week at least 5 miles a day! I love running now I’m not very fast but I want to be. I love all the tips and listening to all the experienced runner stories it’s all fascinating to me! I will continue to listen! Thanks so much!

    Love it! Super recommend.
I’ve been listening for a couple months now and look forward to every new episode. She talks about things other running podcasts don’t really get into. I’ve been running for about 20 years and don’t feel I need much advice anymore about *how* to train. I’ve got my system down. This show talks about all the little things that happen when you become a masters runner. Things that happen in your thoughts, such as losing focus on the Why, what your goals can be when you’re no longer strictly competitive in your racing, how to keep loving the sport when speed and distance PRs aren’t realistically coming anymore, really thinking about how your nutrition may be effecting your training as you get older, thinking about life stressors having and effect on your training, controlling the controlables and letting go of the rest, etc. Each episode there’s something interesting for me to ponder, and ideas for things to try that I’ve never heard or thought of before, such as recently: mantras that begin with “I will become ___” and then you can have a process oriented word like gritty or brave or strong, instead of setting yourself up for disappointment after disappointment because you aren’t hitting every time goal you set. I’m going to try that in the second half of my next long run. Thanks so much for getting into topics that aren’t addressed by outcome oriented shows.

Great show! So glad I found it
I’ve found this podcast to be so pleasurable and on point for me. Segments are concise, sensible and smart. Great listen for any age runner. Even better if you’re in the 40 plus demo. A real treasure for runners that want a pick me up and some good advice to run healthy and enjoy the process.

    Hooked
WOW! Was looking for a way to reignite my passion for running. I’ve been running for years but as of late, I’m feeling my age (I’m 51) and wondering “why bother”…was hoping to find someone that get this. This podcast is what I was searing for…I’ve only listened to ONE episode (#51) and I’m already hooked! Sage advice from someone who gets it! Do you believe in things happening for a reason? I do! 51 seems to be a good number. 😉Thank you!

    You are normal!
I turned 40 eight days ago. I was on vacation in DC and there were so many places to run. I have always wanted to be a runner, but never stuck with it. This podcast is inspiring and informative. I am learning that I am normal! That runners don’t have a magic ability, but instead fight many of the same thoughts just with STRATEGIC ways to OVERCOME! This podcast gives me motivation to go again with tools to succeed. Beginning with positive self talk.
