LeenZembrolakFun, Feeling, Fu…dgeOne of the things that I love the most about this podcast is the genuine authenticity. It’s usually two folks talking about the really realness of working in the nonprofit sector. Mallory infuses laughter, and feeling into the conversations and work. As you know- work is well, work. It’s hard, confusing, frustrating and isolating. Conversely, at times it’s easy, concise, clear and connecting. With an abundance mindset, Mallory helps folx in the third sector embrace a social impact lens, while offering, practical tips and tools for problem-solving everyday tactical challenges. And, sometimes, there's swearing! Above all, this podcast makes me feel seen and valued. A must have for single-person shops. Not bad for 30 minutes a week.

Naboo61How am I only just learning about this show?!I’ve been in the nonprofit fundraising field for 3 decades and often felt adrift and in a silo with no platforms to share not just professional information. The modern fundraiser has to juggle goals and expectations in an ever evolving, challenging landscape. Mallory’s approach with her guests opens windows into the intellectual AND emotional processes that we all go through.

nik_castleSo approachable. Easy to integrate!Mallory seems to effortlessly pull amazingly useful information about fundraising from her guests and then immediately and intuitively address the reactions that I’m having internally that might prevent me from actually integrating and implementing the tips I’m hearing. I’ve already made some changes to my tiny habits after listening to the Real Relationships series and I am feeling pretty revitalized about a part of my work that I was putting off because I was a bit intimidated about it
