    Good guests, terrible interviews
I enjoy the weekly maritime updates and the interesting guests they get most of the time, although the show has a habit of bringing on industry executives to wax poetic about their shipyards or weapons systems when anyone who’s followed the industry for awhile knows that shipyards and the Navy are making a huge mess out of nearly every project they undertake. But for me, the worst part of these interviews is the way the host Chris Cavas asks questions. He doesn’t ask questions so much as he rambles incessantly for 4-5 minutes at a time and then ends with something like “what are your thoughts.” Listening to this interview approach is intensely aggravating and I often find myself wanting to skip through his rambling just to get to whatever the quest has to say on the matter. Chris Cavas has been around awhile, he should be better than this.
