    Thank you!
Alan has been my favorite person to keep me up to date on all the 8000m news and stories, and his work has been an amazing support during my own injury recovery journey over the past year. He keeps the spirits high, is so knowledgeable, and my favorite contributor to all 8000m topics. Thank you, Alan!

    Memories are everything
Alan is clearly passionate about this hobby and it's something that I can appreciate. Over the years, he's made many friends in the climbing community and it's intriguing to hear him share his own stories as well as weave in the tales of others. His annual chronicling of the Everest season is a must-listen for me.

    Homesickness
I’ve long followed Alan’s blog and, as a Twitter newbie, started following him there a couple of months ago. Not sure why it took me until today to listen to the podcast. It’s beyond enjoyable, particularly because Alan knows climbing so incredibly well. I have been binging all of the Everest coverage for this year (2021) and his vivid descriptions take me back to my treks to Everest via Kathmandu, Lukla, and Tengboche. Cannot recommend this enough if you’re a climber or into climbing!
