    Love Amber.
Hey y’all. Follow LPN since RTOG/C&C days. The grassroots movement though has devolved into selling RoundUp, Jesus and other products diametrically opposed to the ideas yall spout. I get selling out and having to pay employees, however there is businesses with integrity.

A Podcast for a cause I believe in!
Feels very authentic. Keep up the great work! I especially enjoy the Mormon/LDS viewpoint. (As a former LDS insider, it’s amazing to hear the outsiders’ view of all the craziness, injustice and misogyny.)

    Well researched but dang
SPUN is a well researched show that def covers some interesting topics but dang Amber has so many preconceived notions, fears, assumptions that she spews nonstop it makes the show almost unlistenable. Natalie does a great job with research, painting settings and telling a story only for Amber to interject some weird and bizarre statement. I really want to enjoy this podcast but I just can’t.

I am loving the LDS series. 🙌🏻

    Love this Pod
Natalie is an amazing researcher and narrator. Amber is cute and adds a lot of humor and positivity to the difficult topics they cover. Keep it up ladies! You both rock.

TDS is strong here and it diminishes credibility
We have left a cult after five generations last year that has a lot of parallels with the LDS. These ladies are doing a good job telling about the LDS and how it operates. But when they start parroting misinformation (Trump is not buying TikTok, spare us) and talking about Trump and Elon will call themselves gods, etc. the credibility of what this podcast is about loses its credibility. Lose the hysterics, the last four years were trash as well and we are all going to be fine. The righties were saying it was the end of days too then. No one is going to be satisfied about the government ever!! Man! Stick to this subject! Shining light on this is a balm to us who lived it! The more light, the more they will have to change! Please. It’s so important.

    Generally good
Orders of magnitude less polished than any other show on the network but still a good listen 80% of the time. I’m not sure why it isn’t brought up to snuff with fraudsters or lpotl considering it’s well researched and the subject matter is interesting and important. This deserves attention and a good producer/editor.

    Well Researched
This latest series on Mormonism is so important and genuinely so well researched. I’ve shared this with friends who have deconstructed from the Mormon faith and it’s opened a lot of conversations about the far too common events discussed that, unfortunately, almost every woman I know has experienced in this church. To any current members who feel they are on a tight rope of sin listening to this, you are not and God is kinder than the church makes Him out to be. You are safe.

I wanted to disagree with the other reviews
I wanted to like this show, but I really have to admit that the other reviews are right- amber is really difficult to listen to. She frankly seems pretty unhinged and unintelligent, and not in a funny or relatable way. It’s a shame because I really like Natalie and her research. Amber adds just nothing and can barely even follow the information.

    Love These Girls
I’ve been listening from the start, because I love Last Podcast On The Left. I feel like it has been a work in progress and gotten better and better. Natalie obviously does a lot of research. I do love Amber and her innocence and naivety towards a lot of the topics. I think it brings something to the table for someone who doesn’t know a lot about certain topics and is willing to be very vulnerable. Y’all are great.

    These Ladies are Amazing!
I love this show so much. It is done so well and the topics are so interesting. I want Amber and Natalie Jean to be my best friends. Thank you for making my chemo treatments actually enjoyable, I save ya’ll so it goes by faster.

    Changing my review
I’ve been listening from the start. Natalie is an angel on Earth. Amber is hilarious and talented. That was my previous review, but I stopped listening shortly after that, because I was disappointed that didn't speak up for Palestine.

Amber made me feel so sad
…for her. It was just awful, listening to her, be scared of every word that came out of her mouth because people are coming for her. I’m going to admit that I’ve been super irritated by her before when she’s interrupting something important to say something not funny and weird and it’s just distracting and irritating. That has nothing to do with her being some kind of a bad person – she’s obviously an excellent person with a shining good soul. I frankly think live stream is not the greatest idea for these two because the show could be incredible with a really good editor. We love you Amber I’m sorry people are being dicks to you.

Tough but necessary. Try successfully to inform, educate, but not traumatize the listeners. Appreciate all the hard work you both do

    Just not very smart
I thought this show was a parody at first because the foil host was so clueless.

Amazing podcast. Like sitting back listening to great friends discuss some tough topics. I’ve learned so much from this show and I love ❤️ love it 🥰

One of the stupidest podcasts I have ever heard
I really, really love LPOTL network and have been expanding into other offerings they have : good pud, page 7, talkin tv, wiz brew and the original. But this show… wow. Not an ounce of research has gone into this show, let alone thought on presentation or podcasting skill. I listened to ep 87-100. I gave up after I listened to an entire hour of a show ep 99 on a janteyl Johnson. A full hour went by. By the end you still have NO IDEA what happened to her. Was she murdered? Did she disappear? As a listener the story telling is horrific. Please do some… any research and/or be entertaining at all.

    Excellent A Must Listen
Extremely informative and original podcast. Delves deeply into uncovered content unlike most podcasts who just continue to recycle each others episodes. Deep dives are so well researched and leave me wanting more

    Thank you!!
Love the pod and have been listening since the IBFP series and I’m also so sad during season breaks but I don’t use twitch! Thank you for uploading these streams to the pod!!! Love it!!!!

    Too much banter
Just too much talking about themselves and needless chatter/banter. I had to stop halfway through the episode. It’s just not for me

    Really disappointed
In theory this show should be good, I really enjoy listening to Amber. However the way Natalie makes jokes about certain things you can definitely tell she’s a mean girl and in it for some sort of fame and not actually highlighting victims stories. I would definitely be back to supporting this show if they replaced her with someone more compassionate.
  • hece600
    Hypocrites
I was a fan for years but I had to unsubscribe when I learned one of the hosts couldn’t support a victim IRL (or even refrain from siding against her).
  • internetbridget
    Bummer
As a DV survivor and a fans of yours I’m saddened and disappointed by the events that have unfolded.

The disparaging remarks about prosecutors and the legal system is out of control
I’m an attorney who works for a State Attorney General, and I used to love this show. Lately, however, the disparaging comments towards the entire legal system has taken over and made me unable to listen any longer. The system isn’t perfect, but there are good people, like progressive prosecutors, who work hard to protect their residents and make the justice system more equitable. I don’t need to listen to a podcast every week that tears down my work. And if Natalie and Amber think the system is so corrupt and worthless, I’d love to hear their ideas on how to fix it, but those ideas never come. If you want predators prosecuted, you need attorneys and law enforcement to do their jobs well. Offering nothing but criticism is unproductive and exhausting.

    Enjoyable but needs some changes
Editing has gotten kind of sloppy. Direct requests to cut segments out are left in. Sometimes the hosts will say something really inappropriate or ignorant, then correct themselves and say they didn’t mean it. We all slip up sometimes but it would be better to just edit out the controversial statements that they don’t truly mean. Ad breaks are sudden and marked with a loud musical sting, then a weirdly long pause before the ads actually play. I don’t mind the hosts’ personal stories. But sometimes the tone of the podcast becomes so flippant in relation to the horrors they’re describing that I have to stop listening. While the show says it’s about missing and exploited women, they have covered enough trans men and gender non-conforming people that it feels like they’re lumping those groups into the “women” category, even if that’s not their intention. Amber isn’t given a lot to do, and frequently when she tries to add commentary it’s disagreed with or not acknowledged by Natalie. I like the storytelling aspect but it would be nice if Amber could have a more concrete way of contributing. The hosts get along well and I like hearing their discussions. I think the show needs a little tightening up. It has promise.
  • Oooopsokay…
    Not everyone needs a podcast
Between smacking her lips/sucking her teeth right into the microphone and saying ummm 70 times an episode, Natalie really wants you to know that she really thinks bad things are BAD!!!! Ugh! Yuck! Dude, we get it. And while Amber has the voice of an angel, she wastes it being hyper sexual in a cringey way that would be super predatory if it was coming from a man. It’s a weird podcast. Doom scrolling in audio format. It’ll leave you annoyed and anxious. Goes to show that just because you can, does not mean you should have a podcast.

    Condones Violence toward Women
Recent reports indicate that individuals associated with this show either ignored or punished women speaking out against alcohol fueled violence.

    Heavy, but important topics
This podcast does a good job covering heavy, much needed topics and cases, I’ve learned so much from this show! Sometimes I have to step away from listening, I do hope N+A take care of themselves while researching and discussing. I’m really “enjoying” the coverage of parasocial exploitation, by enjoying I mean yelling at the phone, I don’t follow any of this stuff and it blows my mind what people do to their families.

    Good Hosts, Bad Information
The hosts are great to listen to but I find the information being given to be both lacking and factually untrue in many cases. Topics aren’t well researched but turned into long series of mostly conjecture and opinion. I also find the constant refrain on how common human trafficking is to be alarming given these statistics are inaccurate and it does not seem that the hosts know this. Would love this show to be framed more so as an opinion/conversation type podcast rather than portrayed as true crime.
  • Wompwomp182
Stories you haven’t heard everywhere else
I appreciate this podcast so much for informing me about so many cases that don’t get the coverage they deserve. Even when they touch on things that are getting national attention (ie Josh Duggar) I learn things I’ve never heard elsewhere.
  • WizzerWizard
    My favourite true crime podcast
Fabulous show! I love the topic and the boys have excellent chemistry! They handle these delicate cases with such care and kindness that really helps to elevate the humour
  • deathnest
    Poorly researched topics
    1) Natalie’s voice is not made for audio. It’s extremely weak and hard to listen to. 2) Their research on topics is very poorly communicated and half of what they “report is 100% INCORRECT INFORMATION. They are ripe for a lawsuit from many organizations they speak on, as so much is factually incorrect.
  • Mr.Ass63
    Natalie.
Natalie is a paper thing shrew on a power trip. She’s all talk when it comes “supporting victims” etc. But when the rubber meets the road she lacks the strength of character to stand by her own values. Sorry Amber, you’re wonderful.
  • NuclearWintre
    they deserve 6 stars
i recently unfollowed several highly popular podcasts because i was sick and tired of listening to people who had no idea what they were talking about. (and don’t get me started on the hero worship of people who just recap documentaries…) here the research is incredibly well done and i appreciate the super deep dives that last for several episodes. i also find the hosts relatable with their stories of youth in the punk scene and recreational drug use, whereas so many other podcasters seem like goody two-shoes. furthermore whereas in other podcasts the funny side kick can be obnoxious, this one is hilarious and downright adorable. i’ve been binging like 5 hours a day.
  • HareKrishnas
    Honestly disgusting
How you can talk about women and children who are missing that you have never met and support them, but you won’t stand by a victim of DV that you “barely know”?!? Your “hard work” on this show is for NOTHING if you don’t even stand with a victim who you’ve met and spent time with. I’m don’t with this podcast, and I’m done with LPN.
  • lucky bananna
The conversations we need to have!
The hard conversations you probably don't have access to in your daily life are had here. This pod is informative, introspective, and sometimes served with a little levity. Bravo to another wonderful LPN production!
  • camc5105
    Biggest hypocrites!
In real life they don’t support victims, they support abusers. They had one right in their midst and instead of doing the right thing, they protected the abuser and their interests, in that order.
  • hailme666
    Disappointing
    showed your true colors, Natalie.
  • Jaspie13!
    Victims come first, huh?
Not a good look guys. You had an opportunity to live by your words and you cowered. Disappointing.

    Please Replace Amber
I like the podcast and Natalie but I can’t stand Amber’s constant stories and interjections. Please get her to either stop it or replace her! It’s unlistenable as it is and I have to fast forward through her parts. It’s almost like Natalie is trying to do the podcast but Amber keeps interrupting.
  • SaintCageNolte
Wanted to like but needs better research
I was really looking forward to hearing about the police gangs named in the title of the podcast but the hosts were really uninformed about a lot of the military topics they spoke with authority on. There were well known studies that got a lot of airtime on NPR about how much more disciplined and better at deescalation formerly deployed soldiers are than cops who haven’t served. That is somewhat counterintuitive which is why it was newsworthy. Calling all military training and discipline “being trained to be killers” is sorely misinformed as are their assertions that “mace doesn’t work on soldiers”. If you can be corrected by a study from NPR you need a better research staff. Great topics and entertaining but some very sloppy research.
  • VietSchlong
    Distilled Cringe
Hosts are mentally, academically, and spiritually unqualified for any serious topic. Page 7 peanut gallery is where these two belong. Can you imagine these dullards being on RTOG? They’d cry and storm out of the room in 5 minutes

    Garbage
Just another run of the mill, woke, man bad, woman victim, podcast. Do yourself a favor and give this trash a pass.
  • Cassasauresrex
Great podcast but agree w/ other reviews
I read through most of the reviews for this podcast and they are mostly valid. -Amber can definitely come across as out of touch with a topic and/or confusing/inappropriate jokes or comments. -The caveats and disclaimers at the beginning (and several points throughout) the show are really dragged out and you often end up skipping the first 15-20 minutes of the show. -Natalie’s voice does tend to sound as if she is unsure of what she is saying, even though that doesn’t seem to be the case. Overall still a great podcast
  • 5-2-blue
    TW- r*pe
I started at the beginning and I really enjoyed the first couple episodes. I thought it had potential but I’m not interested in hearing about these very sensitive topics from women who believe there is such a thing as “fun r*pe”. Ew.

    Favorite New Podcast
I am a fan of LPOTL and this podcast speaks to the reason for my feminist outrage moments at the world. They’re handling important topics. I enjoy how they’re presented. Natalie Jean does great research and Amber cracks me up. I also love hearing Amber’s tidbits from her history and constantly questioning how is she alive still? This is an excellent true crime podcast and I look forward to new episodes!
  • samlau0916
Hard to listen to but necessary
This podcast probably isn’t for everyone. I love true crime and dark and twisted stories but these are the worst kind of horrifying, the monsters that walk among people. Thank you for opening my eyes to a lot of things. The delivery is upfront, no jokes, no trying to lessen the blow.
  • geeeeewizz
Great show… please do something about the mouth sounds
I love these two so much. Great coverage of topics and cases that need more coverage, and highly evolved perspectives. Great chemistry between the two. I have only one complaint, and it seems to be something I’ve only noticed in the new season. The mouth sounds! Maybe they were there before, and I’ve just become less tolerant, but either way, it’s really distracting. Other than that, this podcast is flawless.
  • hrkdisbei
Would be 5 stars without Amber
Please replace Amber, her comments aren’t funny and her “stories” which are blatant lies are making this show almost unlistenable!! Seriously what value is she adding to the show…. A new cohost would take this podcast to the next level. Maybe Jackie? The ACOTAR deep dive is awesome.
