This is no doubt one of my favorite shows I’ve ever listened to. It’s heart wrenching, dynamic, beautiful stories have taken over my life. I’ve been listening now for a couple of years and have watched both Godkillers, all of Chaos, and am starting on the second stranger and every new episode is better than the last. Keep making your amazing art, guys!

Just finished arch three and this is such a good series!! The story telling is top notch, it’s interesting, compelling, and RP (not combat!) driven within the plot, character archs, interpersonal relationships, and more! Connie does an amazing job as the Gm, creating such a beautiful world and all the beautiful people that live in it (The pcs do amazing too ofc!!). This is just such a nice, accepting, inclusive, and SAFE space. Thank you all for making TransplanarRPG, it’s really great what you’re doing, and I appreciate it very much.

At first I wasn’t sold but it’s been so great watching the original cast grow as players & voice actors. Love Connie’s gm’ing! Note listen to all the episodes - I thought the one offs and bonus episodes were relevant to the story and found myself a bit confused after arc 5.

I’m a little late to the show but I’m in the middle of listening to it now and love it. Connie does some amazing world building! And all the players have really grown on me. Great group dynamics.

Fantastic story and great voice acting! Connie is such an exciting DM with lots of unique ideas and I love the combat/scene balance. Definitely worth a listen!

How are there only 45 reviews? This is a story that has TAZ level of heart. Except Connie isn’t afraid to TPK and make their players figure out how to not die. I’m considering getting a Twitch account specifically to watch the streaming sessions.

The story telling within this podcast is absolutely beautiful. With every single episode I’m amazed that this campaign isn’t more popular as it deserves all of the love. Connie has put so much heart into this and it shows, same with each player! So sad to almost be finished with the available episodes and I hope this campaign goes on forever!

What an amazing podcast. Connie is an amazing DM. I consider myself pretty fair, and I have absolutely loved the way they use mechanics such as the way he uses insight checks to “ask a question and I’ll answer truthfully.” The staff is phenomenal. Not only does this team introduce a fully conceived story in a homebrew world, they demonstrate a wealth of original game mechanics that balance story telling and risk and present a fresh approach of what a fantasy world can be.

This show has been on my radar since it started, but I have never been able to keep up with streams well. Having it in podcast form is so exciting! there is a stellar cast, and a stellar story. The descriptions are stunning and vivid and I can’t wait to see what is in store next!

Transplanar is a masterfully written and played live play D&D-based campaign, featuring a uniquely centered world and created by five awesome trans artists. PoC lead and with a 100% home brew setting that explicitly avoids colonialism and orientalist tropes. Though the events are serious and the story can sometimes turn dark, the engaging characters and their individual viewpoints make it easy to get hooked. This is the first episode of an existing series of over 30 sessions, so there’s plenty more to come - add this one to your watch list, or watch the live session videos on YT under Transplanar RPG. I’ve been following the stream for some time and so delighted to see they’ll be releasing as a podcast! The cast & characters are absolutely wonderful and have great chemistry, the setting is fresh & original, and the story is dynamic & engaging. This is a must-listen TTRPG actual play!
