emilyeknightBest podcast I’ve ever foundThese guys and I followed each other on a different platform after I relentlessly posted Showdown and other propagandhi songs since a certain event on Feb. 24. Propagandhi has been formative in my worldview and this is a terrific podcast!!! Well done!!!

DuamilGreat PodcastWell thought out and interesting podcast about a great band. I just homeboy would quit singing. It’s super cringy and distracts and detracts from an otherwise great listen.
-
Indiana jrdIncredible effortI was a fan of Propagandhi 20years ago, but I lost track and kind of forgot about them. I started listening to this show on a lark and can say now that Propagandhi is my ‘new’ favorite band. Thank you for re-introducing me to this incredible music and all it offers.

fredvanschieThe best podcast, even if you don’t know PropagandhiPropagandhi has been my favorite band for almost 30 years, but my love and appreciation for this band has grown a lot since I started listening to this podcast. Greg and Keith really dive into every song and dissect every aspect of it. They have really great guests, who often aren’t “famous”, but really bring a lot of value and insight to the topic of the song. The episodes are long and it always feels like an accomplishment once I finished one, as it often takes me a few days to get through one. Nothing but respect for the time and effort Greg and Keith put into this podcast. A must listen for every Propagandhi fan, but the subjects discussed will enrich anyone’s mind. 10/10!

ShavyShavLiterally makes me happy.I look forward to K and G’s Propagandhi episodes each week, and I noticed something while listening- their work makes me happy, I am filled with joy learning about Propagandhi songs as these too dig so deep in the lyrics and teach us what the true meaning behind each song could be(and probably is). Thanks guys, I hope you do more bands after this: Bad Religion(perfect for G), Strung Out, Rise Against, Anti-Flag?!?!?!!

zaaaccckkk🙌This is my favorite podcast. Thank you for everything you do, Greg and Keith!

livefastdieawesomeA must listen for fans of political punk rockI’ve been a fan of Propagandhi for 20 years and this podcast has both reignited my love of the band and reframed a lot of their songs for me. When I first got into them in the late 90’s their skate punk albums were fun but I was too young and too distracted to really give the lyrics the attention they were owed. When Empires came out I was more in tune to the lyrical content but I wasn’t ready for their new musical style and I missed a lot. I started really paying attention to and following the band around the PCL album but even still some of the lyrics and some of the more metal musical styles went right over my head. Now my tastes are perfectly aligned with the band and I have been going back and revisiting “missed” material and paying closer attention to songs I’ve long loved but who’s meanings I’ve missed. I can also credit this podcasts deep dives into their songs for my new dietary shift away from animal products. I need Propagandhi to release a new album ASAP so Greg and Keith don’t run out of episodes.

hillcityjoshThese guys are killing it...This podcast was a slow start for me, if I’m being honest. As much as I love Propagandhi, the length of most episodes was more than I usually care to listen to (of any podcast). I can’t remember which episode it was — probably one with Dr Chris Deutch — but I saw the light and now I listen to *every* episode and have pretty much listened to every episode going back to episode one. The guest interviews are absolutely my favorite part because I love hearing everyone’s “Propagandhi story”.

Beantownguy3Every Punk Fan Needs to Hear This.What. Wow. This show absolutely knocks it out of the park. I was a Propagandhi fan before this show, now they’re one of my all time favorite bands. I recommend them to friends, professors, and anyone looking for music with substance and conscious. Also, who is the clown that rated this show 1 star?
-
atwarwithinIf you love the band, you will really love the show.A must-listen. If you are a fan of any of their albums at all, or all of em!! Long episodes, they really break into all the lil details. I’m obsessed.

Maximoto98Long time listenerI’ve been listening to Propaghandi since “How to clean everything “, I was a late 80s skater turned hardcore punk rock guitarist. At the time the first album came out I lived on a diet of Jesus Crust, Extreme noise terror and the Subhumans. How to clean everything was a brilliant blend of the skate rock I came from and the meaningful punk I’d turned to. Great band and great show, both have just continued to constantly improve. Both equally intelligent and emotive.

dpassen1Such a good listenHere’s how it usually goes for me, deep dive into a song that maybe I recognized how great it was, maybe not. Listen to that song on my own with a new found appreciation. Then, listen to that entire album. Here’s hoping you guys can do every released song!

JbizarreExcellent 5 stars!I’m really enjoying this podcast! Propagandhi is one my favorite bands, so hearing an in-depth conversation about their songs really gets me pumped to listen... GREAT SHOW GUYS KEEP IT UP!

joshgroftFor Fans New & OldSomehow this podcast can serve as a great intro to Propagandhi for new fans while also enlightening long-time fans like myself in surprising ways. The show format is pretty solid: guest segment up front, then the hosts breakdown a song musically, lyrically, and conceptually (not necessarily in that order). It’s a good blend of fandom without obsession or overwrought devotion and quasi-critical analysis of Propagandhi’s history, music, and lyrics. Granted, it’s not a slick, professionally produced podcast experience, but that in itself is reminiscent of Propagandhi’s own DIY ethnic. Nice work, and keep it up!

Chris MulkThis is a KILLER deep dive into PropagandhiSuch a small percentage of bands warrant such a deep dive into their message. Propagandhi is certainly one of them. Their lyrics are about as deep, on the whole, as music can get, let alone punk rock. I only mention the latter because there is a lot of swill in punk. To me it’s about the message not the tempo. Greg and Keith kill it. They both have very profound commentary, they take the time to really make their guests feel like they haven’t wasted their respective time, and I think what I love the most is their ability to recognize when they get absolutely blindsided by some interpretation of Prop’s message - I’ve felt the same thing at times by entirely novel interpretations of various lyrics. The hosts definitely do their homework. I learn something every single episode.

Lightn'nEnthralledSo I listen to podcast, but usually only when I’m sick of all the music I’m listening too and nothing new has blow my mind. Never foaming at the mouth to get to the next episode, but Unscripted Moments is not every other podcast. I think the host are great and thought provoking. The guest are great, as is the commentary. I’ve been telling my friends about this podcast like I would a new record or band. I’m going to be crushed when the finish the discography!

Classical IdeasYay!Woohoo!

InsomniaNoirThey beat me to itI have been obsessing over Propagandhi for the last year or so after a long hiatus from punk rock in general. I found the band has been saying things for years that are only now coming up in the general discourse in recent years. As with most musicians, I do a huge deep dive on their music if I can and, of course, Propagandhi has a wealth of knowledge and references that they cram into songs that most bands can’t fit into entire records and definitely do not get talked about in my mostly white evangelical background (something I have disowned for a lot of reasons, but am probably an anomaly as a Christian Propagandhi fan). This band deserves a comprehensive review and I’m glad these guys are able to take the time to do it. I hope they make it through the entire discography. What else is there to do during a pandemic?
-
Paranormal JustinOh, yeah.Fantastic cast filling me in on the lyrics I was too lazy to research or too dumb to understand. However, not enough love for the John K Samson years.;) New favorite podcast!
-
Matt05jThese folks are rightThe newer Propagandhi records are the best.

hermit thrush“Describe, compel, renew”I really appreciate this podcast on my favorite band. This podcast focuses on the ideas and sounds offered by Propagandhi and explores their larger context. I love that ideas and history are the focus. It is also fun that the creators are both school teachers as Propagandhi were teachers to do many of us growing up! Thank you!
-
b0cephusLove itI’ve got a feeling you two could have a podcast about pizza boxes and it would be just as engaging, entertaining, and informative. But this isn’t about pizza boxes, it’s about one of the best prog / thrash punk bands ever. Keep up the great work, I’m a fan.
-
RupplejerkT O IIf you love tons of information and a solid educated delivery much like Propagandhi this is for you. Hopefully some great guests as I have only listened to 2 podcasts but I can tell a good thing when I hear it.
-
b RonThought I was the only one who nerded out on Propagandhi!Love this so much. So good to hear that Propagandhi brings others to tears. Not just me! By far my most favorite band. So great to hear others dive deeper into their songs. Super excited for the weekly perspective.

BojansayspotatoEntertaining for a Fellow Music Nerd.I hope as not aware of this band it stylistically different from what I usually listen to. That doesn’t matter in order to enjoy the pod. They’ve made me a fan. The amount of information these guys know about Propaghandi is amazing. They are passionate and have fun with this band’s catalog. They don’t take themselves too seriously. Which is great. I’ve put together a list of each song you guys have “broken down” and it really puts a great focus on every part of the song, which I love. It helps me as a beginner. Keep it up!

jec8085“Review”This is great guys. It’s interesting to me how this band either is ignored or evokes and undying devotion. Everyone I know(maybe two people) that listens to Propagandhi puts them in a category of their own. Such an amazing band, to me this band is held in such a high regard that no other band comes even close. Looking forward to all the episodes to come.

Ben Alexander R.FinallyThe podcast I always wanted. Thank you for existing!

Cams28I like Ghandi’s Philosophy so...I love what you guys are doing here, this will be a very thoughtful podcast. Looking forward to learning something from a band in a music genre I DO NOT listen to! #KeithFanClubSince2012
