    Waste of my time.
Ugh the man is insufferable. Couldn’t be bothered to learn his name. Talking highly of the detectives that grossly manipulated the West Memphis three boys into false confessions is just disgusting. Seems like a very MAGA podcast as well as overly opinionated.

    Love this show
I started listening to podcast for the first time and was striking out. I started listening to this one and I feel in love with both of you! It just seems like I’m listening to friends talk!

    Very enjoyable
I really enjoy everything about the Prosecutors. I was turned onto them by Jodi from Caught in my Web. I wish they had a less biased view of the Karen Read trial. It’s frustrating how they don’t look at the actual evidence. They are just pretty hung up on how they dislike Jackson and Iannetti. I thought they were so thorough and honest with the JonBenet Ramsey account, and many others. This one, though, they’re not honest. But I’m still listening, so that says something!

    Annoying and opinionated; not factual
It is annoying that you guys keep saying niece instead of cousin pertaining to the Adnan case. It’s her cousin. Not niece.

    MAGA
As someone who believes that women have bodily autonomy, I can’t support this podcast.
  • MattZip
    Don’t support fascism
Both of these hosts are actively seeking to undermine democracy based on their perverse, extreme misunderstanding of law and their fundamental desire to hurt people who don’t look like them. Now running a typical right-wing grift by exploiting dead girls.

    Fantastic! (and educational)
I stumbled across this podcast during my search for truth after the hung jury in the Karen Read trial. As a legal professional of over 10 years, I learned SO MUCH from Brett & Alice. Something about their podcast left me 9 episodes deep into their analysis of the KR trial and I just couldn’t get enough. Pretty sure I have become a permanent listener. B&A: thank you for your continued work to not only review each case but to also lift the humanity bar. The big picture messaging is greatly appreciated by this listener!

    Case Suggestion
How do we give suggestions of cases to do for the show?

    Love them
Best podcast ever. I’ve been listening since the beginning and love their Patreon. It’s so fun to watch their live episodes. They have so much knowledge and are able to digest cases for the public really well. And they always talk about things I wouldn’t put together myself. I’ve finally thought of my question. Do you talk true crime with your spouses or does it feel like work to talk about with them? Would they ever come on an episode?? Love you guys thanks for all your hard work!

    Parenting and friends
Thinking of Adnan and the Memphis 3, can you give some parenting advice? What would you do as Jennifer’s mom? As the parent of a kid who is friends with Damian?
  • subplotter
    Liars, apparently
I used to be a Patreon member and huge fan just yesterday. Then I found out who Brett Talley actually is. You wouldn’t be able to tell they are MAGA just from the podcast, or that they lie about their legal experience. So disappointing.

    Ruined me for all others
Once you go TP you don’t go back! 😂 Alice and Brett are the best. Their knowledge and interpretation of cases is so impressive. Please do the 1998 murder of 13 year old Greg Witman by his 15 year old brother Zach Witman. My question is, what is the movie or show that is closest to being accurate of what it’s like being in court? Which movie/show is the most wildly inaccurate?
  • BeastyPapa!
    Your thoughts
Never seen Paradise lost, but I have seen Stranger Things and listening to your coverage of the West Memphis three there seems to be a lot of similarities between Eddie Munson and Damien Echols do you think they based his character on the West Memphis three incident at all? Just wondering what your thoughts are?

    i love my dog
These guys bring in anecdotes from all angles making a grim subject sometimes a little lighter and giving real life experiences to flesh out theories. I’ve really been enjoying their banter and story telling. The story about Brett’s dog biting a box delivered was great entertainment to me (while also proving his point). Thank you

    Thanks
Question: What high profile trail that was lost by the prosecution or that hasn’t been to trail as of yet would you want to be lead prosecutor on? Also for those wondering if you should listen to Brett and Alice the answer is yes! I love the legal commentary mixed with random singing from Brett of Bluey. How did you not know Bingo! Keep making content it’s detailed, unbiased, and informative.

    Kerr McGee
This same company had its presence in West Chicago IL back in the day. Thorium was the offending agent. The search terms if you are interested is thorium, West Chicago, Lindsey chemical, Kerr McGee. Town was a super fund clean up site.

    Best True Crime Podcast
They go deep and introduce me to many new things from old cases. The one star reviews are people crying about Brett being Conservative. 😂

    Great Podcast!
This is my new go-to true crime podcast. I love hearing the host’s measured, thoughtful and logical perspectives on various cases. Brett and Alice have great chemistry as well, and neither host dominates the conversation. I even listen to this podcast to help me fall asleep!

    Lacking Objectivity and Humility
I stomached my reservations about their offensive politics long ago and continued listening. I hate cancel culture and believe that we can do better than dismissing others just because we don’t agree politically. While for years this was one of if not my favorite podcast, it has become too tiresome to bear. The Karen Read coverage was like a disorienting red flag to me- I wasn’t super invested in the case but totally disagreed with their takes. I stuck it out, though…but in the months since I’ve just found their shows boring, their opinions biased and their once charming sidebars have become such a substantial amount of content. It’s disappointing to have lost a once favorite podcast- but over the years I enjoyed it and learned a lot in the legal briefs eps. Wishing them the best!

    Where Sanity Meets True Crime
Alice and Brett use all their law knowledge for good and I have yet to find a better podcast for evidence following and sensible commentary. I appreciate when they get emotional and fiery because I really see that they focus on the real true victims in every case. My Question: I'm sure you started the podcast for specific reasons 5 years ago. What is one unintended outcome or development you've experienced since then that you didn't foresee when you began this journey? Keep it up!
  • Pamdemoneeum
    Question!
After listening to the podcast for so long… I’d love to hear either or both of you in action in the court room. Do you know if any of your cases have had cameras in the courtroom and would be searchable?! Thank you for all you guys do!
  • JoyGPharmD
    Great podcast!
I love hearing perspectives from actual prosecutors. So many interesting cases! I especially love the personal commentary! Brett and your lovely co-host Alice, please keep the episodes coming!!
  • IHateNicknames!!!!!!!
    Addictive
I love Alice and Brett! They are so smart and witty. Their easy going logic as well as succinct way of explaining confusing legal issues make listening to them easy and informative. Their shows are the equivalent of going out to dinner with friends and getting sucked into a great conversation. Listen to both podcasts - you will not be disappointed. Question: you’ve made it to the end of your life and have arrived at the Pearly Gates: St. Peter says that before you enter he will give you the answer to one of life’s great mysteries. What are you asking him about? (Who killed JFK? What happened at the Dyatlov Pass? Who is the real Dan Cooper? Etc.)

    The Best
I love this podcast. I can see why it has won the CrimeCon award. It’s how I heard of them. Being actual prosecutors and also having such a great rapport makes this the podcast my favorite. I always learn something:)

    Congratulations Alice
So happy you will be going on A&E episodes you deserve all of the success. Thank you both for the podcasts! We love hearing from Brett and Alice. Brett had a great voice

    Love Love Love
My Favorite Podcast! Here’s my question: How did you each feel when “another podcast” made a whole series trying to discredit your Adan episodes? He attacked you each personally and professionally. I would love to learn how to deal with such adversity.

    I love you guys!
I love episode 298! What is the one quality about yourself do you believe has led you to be so successful? Law school, career, pod cast, family!!! Do you sleep? 😂

    Hurt fan
I have been a fan of the show for years and I love the deep dives. I have listened to many podcasts about WM3 and was interested in your take. I don’t mind the side conversations you have and think it makes you real and relatable. BUT, my time is precious, I am a working mom managing a household and a career. Time to myself is rare and I choose to spend it with you. An hour conversation that was advertised as the WM3 case was hurtful. My 5:30 am workout was definitely derailed as I kept waiting for you to dig in and you never did. Honestly, my feelings are just hurt and I regret choosing to spend my time on your podcast this morning 😢
  • HoustonKat
Way to stick it to ‘em LOL
The “A Little Less Conversation” episode made me laugh so hard. I think this was one of my favorite podcast episodes of any podcast ever. That was hysterical. LOOOVE your humor

Y’all seriously killed me with silliness today. Love you!

    I love Alice & Brett
This is my favorite podcast. I’ve tried other true crime podcasts and they don’t measure up and I always end up back here. They’re the best!
  • Nosferatu's Daughter
    Why bother?
You title your latest episode WM3 but after spending 15 minutes of my time fast-forwarding through the whole thing, there was no significant discussion of the case at all. Absolutely fine if you want to chat because some people like that, but please don't tag it as relevant to a case. You're clearly doing that to come up in search results - and that wastes people's time.
  • Tiffer_1989
    Episode 298 🤣
I’m only twenty minutes in and it’s already my favorite episode. 🤣 I’ve been a listener for awhile and look forward to a new episode every week.

    Conservative
Ugh. I wish it weren’t so. You are the smartest podcast out there. I love it so much. But honestly, please tell me you’ve come to your senses. Please contribute to avoiding dismantling the actual constitution.

    Masks off
This used to feel like they were trying to present fair and balanced takes. But it’s slipped into more biased storytelling and they are really condescending about viewpoints other than theirs. Used to be a patreon.

Jesus, these morons don’t know a thing about the law. Total biased hacks. Don’t waste your time.

    One of the best!
I have been listening to true crime for years and recently discovered this podcast through True Crime Garage when you appeared on an episode. I feel like this is a missing piece in my life. My degree is in criminal justice and at one point in my life, I dreamed of being a lawyer. To hear two lawyers take cases and break them down is like a dream come true. I also love how Alice and Brett are not afraid to give their actual full opinion, despite knowing it might not be popular or could really piss some people off, especially in this current era, where everybody has an opinion! I also adore the hosts. I love how you can tell how close of friends they are and how fun it would probably be during a conversation with them. I also like when Brett gets riled up about a subject and goes off on a tangent because honestly, he just says what most other people are thinking. I’ve come to realize with listening that Alice is just so smart. Please continue doing what you’re doing knowing that you guys are very busy people. But you show up time and time again. Appreciate you very much! Question: “If you could create a new holiday, what would it be and how would people celebrate it?”
  • rocky9393
They have never tried a murder case
Why are we acting like they have the credibility to speak about murder cases? Alice has prosecuted criminal cases but Brett has not and barely serves as her third chair. It’s important to verify their background. Also, how do you not know prosecutors have to consent to bench trials? This is a criminal procedure rule in your jurisdiction where you worked for the state AG office. How insane to admit that, as prosecutors, you don’t even know criminal procedural rules in your state.
  • Noorkitty
    Excellent
Ignore the cultists of a certain reptile man-boy :p . My next listen - Adnan. After being firmly in the Rabia camp I am now going to listen to their take. Update: binge listening to Adnan. To me i am more convinced he had motive rather than Jay.

LOVE this podcast (and Brett and Alice 🥹) - PLEASE COVER KENDRICK JOHNSON
Brett and Alice have such great chemistry on the show which is so captivating. They bring a great mix of legal expertise and research to these cases. I need for you guys to cover the tragic case of Kendrick Johnson. The case has unanswered questions, conflicting details, and is truly heartbreaking. I so badly, want to hear your take on it! Please, Brett and Alice, cover this case. Your perspective could shed some much needed light. S
