I would love to hear your thoughts on Chapter 5-specifically-The Nine Principles. And we can’t have a discussion like this without The End State. I only wish I had read SD earlier in my career. The CATO podcast and Commander Heal’s book(s) have been intrinsic in providing me with a better understanding of the tactical environment and how I can safely operate within the mechanism. Touched on a variety of important aspects of not only responding to an active shooter but the dynamics of a SWAT team. Break downs in communication 99% of the time are the results of a failed operation. Not spending enough time examining lessons learned. These problems are different in nature but have been responded to before and we should be able to recognize that and properly prepare for them.
