RawVictoriaBeautifulI’ve listen to something over 100 episodes so far.Mostly because I admire their compassion that people harbor, the raw emotion, and the vulnerability.Together, it’s a catalyst of inner beauty and community. I literally laugh and cry to so many of them lol.

Boom314Healing/Safe Space Centered Podcast! This podcast and the abundance of information it holds has helped create such a safe space for individuals who have shared similar experiences/stigma around their own sexual health. These are the platforms and podcasts that need to be shared, that need to be uplifted. It is in these mediums where people can truly confront their trauma and begin their actual journey of self healing and self love.

Clarice CoHighly Recommend - Normalizing & EmpoweringSo many of these episodes speak truth to how I’ve felt and what I’ve experienced. It’s so easy to feel isolated and alone. Both the host Courtney and all of his guests bring real talk around important topics not many people shine light on. It’s like listening in on great friends talk. If you don’t have an opportunity or community to feel safe having these conversations... I highly recommend listening in. There’s a little bit for everyone from all different walks of the earth!! Incredible content. Keep up the great work!!!

Rose988753PhenomenalThank you, Courtney, for opening my eyes to the stigma behind STIs. It must be a lot of work to produce this thing but I want you to know it means a lot to me. It helped pull me out of a dark place. Also, your voice is very calming.

@HOnMyChestCopy Pasted the below from an email I got (I host the podcast)Something Positive for Positive People is such a great resource for all folx interested in exploring human sexuality. As a guest, it was such a pleasure to have a conversation with Courtney and to share about one another's experiences; he also explained the entire process and made me feel so comfortable throughout our recording sessions. I'm very grateful that my first experience as a guest on a podcast was with him. He touches on so many wonderful and important topics in the sexuality realm, and provides a brave space for discussing herpes, stigma and sexuality from different life experiences. Thank you for all of your lovely work and warm, welcoming energy! -Mx. Papaya

lbarrera9Amazing Podcast! This podcast isn’t just for people who have been diagnosed with an STI. I have learned so much and have a better understanding of what people are going through. It’s helped me navigate the way I think and helped me destigmatize STIs. I love how open and honest him and all his guests are. This is such an important podcast whether you have been diagnosed with an STI or not.

CuriosityDrawsMeFirst of all, you are not alone. If you are struggling with an STI diagnosis, or if you — or someone you know — needs to know that a diagnosis / stigma is not the end of the world, this podcast is not only a breath of fresh air, but also provides real talk, useful information and a sense of community and support for people who might be afraid to reach out and seek support — or who might not know the first place to look. If this podcast is the first place you *do* look for support, you will have been lucky enough to stumble into one of the richest resources out there as far as information combined with empathy and wrapped up in fascinating conversations. Courtney Brave is a great interviewer. He sometimes worries that he talks “too much about himself” during the interview conversations with his guests, but part of what makes this podcast feel so relatable is that human-to-human conversational quality which is so absent from much the info people find when they first begin researching a diagnosis. Despite data about the prevalence of STIs, it is easy to feel isolated, scared and confused when newly diagnosed with an STI. Fear of stigma keeps many people from talking openly about their diagnoses and as a result, many positive people still believe themselves to be alone. If someone has never dealt with STI-or-other-types-of-stigma before, it may be tough to integrate who they thought they were *before* their diagnosis with what they have believed about people with that diagnosis (well hello there, stigma!). STIs don’t just happen to “those people”. STIs and the stigma surrounding them affects us all, whether we know it or not. The relatability of the podcast guests and of the host himself helps to make it clear: we all have skills and our own unique perspective to share with the world. An STI doesn’t take away from that truth — truly something positive for positive people.

HahahaionCommunity and understandingThis podcast helped me to understand that me and my diagnosis were not an island. There is an entire community out there ready to welcome you and share their stories. I love hearing the perspectives that Courtney and his guest bring.
