    I love susceptible pod
A very good pod with two very good hosts. It’s like Yin and Yang, one is cheery and makes the world bright, and one is james

Great Podcast for insight about sperm
I was closing at work and decided to listen to the best of suggestible as I’m a fan of the weekly planet (the less successful podcast) and needed my James fix. I was not expecting at all to be pursing my lips trying not to laugh out loud while James and Claire argued about sperm for what felt like hours. Needless to say I learned a lot and none of my coworkers had a clue I was listening to sperm talk. I love this podcast and I look forward to it every week to gain really valuable recommendations and reproduction information. Claire is a great cohost and her music is amazing (all kinds of lovely is my favorite) and I cackle out laughing whenever James cuts into a talk about feminism with a witty comment. The podcast has even entered my vocabulary as I say I ā€œuse my phone ironicallyā€ daily. Again, love the pod. Keep up the good work!

    Needs more Maso
While I do love suggestible and James other more successful podcast I believe that this could easily claim that title with more Nick Mason.

    sick show
I like how james is grumpy it reminds me of myself. I also like Claire too. 10 out of 5

    The best suggestions!
The best review of Danny Champion of the World since my 4th grade teacher Mr. Wasvick read it to us daily. Thanks for reminding me of his copy he gave me as he retired. Claire and Mr Subday are the best at suggestions

This Is Where the Fun Begins
Just started listening as I’ve been a Weekly Planet listener for a few years and this was a pleasant surprise. I’ve already looked into a few of the recommendations and can say I’m hooked!

A gun, a guy, and some podcasts
If I had a gun, with 5 stars, and I was in a room with 5 podcasts. I’d shoot Suggestible 5 times

Claire Can’t Tell When Her Husband James Is Being Sincere
Been listening to The Weekly Planet for about a decade now and didn’t realize what James and Maseau did to my brain! Recently my friends sat down my roommates to tell us they didn’t know when we were and we’re not doing a bit anymore. Listen to Suggestible and allow normal person Claire to care for your brain as she does for James!

    A great listen.
Claire seems really sweet and James is hilarious as always. Thanks y’all!

James and His Other Wife Add More Stuff To My Backlog
James and his other wife, Claire, suggest so much, I couldn't possibly get to everything in one lifetime. Claire often suggests thoughtful pieces of music and literature while James daydreams of Ninja Turtles and Nick Mason's magnificent beard. Sometimes he suggest stuff, too. Probably a comic or something. I have a suggestion for Claire: An Invocation for Beginnings by Ze Frank on YouTube. It was posted as his first video after a long hiatus. I have had chronic depression since I was a teen (I'm in my mid thirties now) and keep this video on every device I have as a way to kick my brain out of the enevitable morass of unmotivation and negative thoughts that I sometimes just wake up with. You often speak of mental health and suggest ways to better oneself, so I think you'll appreciate it as much as I do. Maybe James will too if he can stop performing the Ninja Rap for three whole minutes. Love the show. Thank you both so much for all of the suggestions even though I know I'll never get to even half of it all. - Franco

I like when the suggestible is feminism, but I like it more when it’s ninja turtles

    ISS Highlight
I work on the International Space Station and we all wait with bated breath to get within cellular range; some to reconnect with family, others to get updates on financials, but not me, I wait to download the latest episode of Suggestible.

    Best Podcast Ever!
My husband and I have been listening to this podcast (which we learned about through James’ more successful podcast) for almost a year and we love it so much! Had to come on and thank James for recommending two amazing shows on Netflix: Heartstopper and Cunk on Earth—the most heartwarming and hilarious (respectively) things we’ve seen in a long time. We love James and Claire (and Maso) so much that we were inspired to start our own podcast about watching movies we’ve never seen (titled appropriately ā€œWhat Do You Mean You’ve Never Seen?ā€). Starting a new podcast is a lot of work but no matter how busy we get we ALWAYS make time for The Weekly Planet and Suggestible. Keep up the great work, folks! Also when is Claire gonna read that book?

MY BOY STEVE — WHAT DO THEY DO TO STEVE
Hey there, long time listener of James’ more successful podcast (since late middle school or highschool, I am now 23, cue James pondering his mortality) n started listening to this lovely pod whenever I would cook this last year. I jus recently started Suggestible and the City, doing so, mind you, without having seen a single episode of Sex and the City. I remember my parents used to watch it when I was a kid but ofc wouldn’t allow me to (thank any n every god) n I never got around to it. Hearing y’all talk about the sequel show was fun but you’d also bring up old episodes n events n characters that were quite intriguing n the fact they named an episode about finishing early ā€œshortcomingsā€ totally sold me. So this past weekend when I’d get home from closing the record shop I work at (no Claire I have no idea how records work even though I play them all the time) I’d watch the OG show before bed n I am now already halfway through season 2. Well in the episode I’m watching rn, Miranda was at a bar n the bartender hit on her, at first negging her a little, ew, but was also kinda clever n sweet n grew on me within the one scene n they ended up going home together but then I realized he’d said his name was STEVE so I IMMEDIATELY took my phone out to write this. Is this THE STEVE? YOUR BOY-NAY-OUR BOY STEVE?? THEY EVENTUALLY DO MY BOY STEVE DIRTY LIKE THAT??? Well I’m still going to root for them despite knowing the inevitable. But that leads to my question: should I stop watching Sex and the City after the show? I’ve heard the movies are bad n obvi mixed things regarding the new show, what would be your recommended viewing experience? Much love from LA, hope y’all n your loved ones are doin well (except Little James).

    Less Successful, just as blissful
After finding the Weekly Planet in pandemic I’m excited to have this now that I’m almost caught up. It gave me Die which is now one of my favorite comics and next game I’ll buy, and a number of good recipes. It’s sad these two will never find the beauty of Olan Rodger’s Final Space since it’s been buried by HBO but it’d have been fascinating hearing both reactions. Keep up the great pod

    BEST PODCAST EVER
This podcast is WAY better than Project Hail Mary, the 16hr audio book I just finished after only 1 month.

    Fine! Here’s your review!!
Look! I did it in app! A great podcast for recommendations from two hosts that enjoy very different media! Great banter, chemistry, etc., etc. My family loves it every time I make glass potatoes, and this is where I got the recipe! Give them a listen! Do it!

    Whatadabadoo!
Hey Claire and James! I found the podcast after being a long time listener of The Weekly Planet and now I listen to Suggestable every week! Also Claire, I listened to your whole album and loved it! Can’t wait for the follow up to come out.
  • Andrew or something
    I’m doing this in app!
5/5 stars! Great podcast all about how much both hosts equally hate horses because of how dumb they are. You should be scared of them, they have bricks for feet!
  • JD_Lopez02
    Great pod!
My favorite thing about this podcast is the amount of times one of the hosts, Claire, asks the editor of the podcast, Collings, to edit out something she just said and he just doesn’t. Always amusing and I’m big fan of the other host Mr. Sunday Content and the occasional bonus host Minigun Connoisseur Maso as well. Keep up the great work!

    This is a Podcast Review.
This is a podcast. This is a podcast hosted by two people. These people are married. They suggest things. These things are things to watch, read, or listen to. This is a good podcast.

    My whole family knows you
Greeting from Texas mates. I have been listening to The Weekly Planet since 2014 and Suggestible since the start and I love y’all. It’s gotten so bad that my parents and sister know James, Mason, and Claire’s voice and they refer to Mason as the funny one and James as the less funny one. All that to say that it’s great to have two podcast in my life that that I love so much that the seep into my everyday life. From Claire’s amazing album to James’ love of cartoon Fox maids, keep up the good work and great jokes!

    The 78th Best Podcast
I am a higher Comic Book fan, and for a while I was only watching comic book movies. This Podcast (the 78th best one) has opened my eyes to lots of other genres and types of film, so for that I say Thank you for being the 78th best podcast.

Great show but Time isn’t a construct
Really great show with solid suggestions that aren’t just shallow picks, but every time Claire says time isn’t real I die a bit inside. 10/10 or 5 out of five, whatever.

Bing bing bong, fun and thoughtful podcast!
The hosts, Claire and James, bring a delightful combination of thoughtful humanism and silly fun. Keep up the good work!

Spiders and squids! On this Less successful podcast is just as enjoyable
This podcast just delights me and cracks me up. James and Claire are charming and Just good folks, and naturally funny. The bit about watching celebs poo has stuck with me for some time. So glad to hear the banter about the brain and consciousness sometimes being separate from one another. That’s a concept that I try to discuss with people and don’t always articulate it well. Like how do my hands know how to play the notes in eFlat? I’ve always related the idea to another entity in my mind, anthropomorphized as a squid storing all this knowledge and skill that isn’t always accessible! Sometimes it talks back and helps or makes me seem smart. But not always….So upon hearing about the spider Claire described I felt validated and delighted and maybe I’m not losing as much as I thought. I’ve gotten my wife to listen to suggestible too and it’s really turned us on to so many great shows books and other things! Thank you James and Claire for being who y’all are and sharing with all of us out here. In the unlikely event you are ever in the Pacific Northwest, beware the young male moose’s in rut! Rut is basically like being in heat. These young moose still, are huuuuge and are so full of hormones the will charge at you and intentionally mow you down and stomp you to death. Otherwise lovely majestic creatures… Even though I live thousands of miles away I felt the need to rate and leave a message to let you know what awesome and relatable content this is. Absolutely Love the show. Cheers from the US! Land locked - in Spokane.

Sex!! Now that I have your attention.
Great pod. Reminds me of conversations I have with my wife, though less often now that our young kids are devouring our free time. Love the interplay of Claire and Nick Mason’s goat puppet as they frequently convince me to waste even more of my very limited free time.

    Unending Firehose of Great Suggestions
Hey Claire & James Hello from Ohio! I’m a musician and a new dad who came to this pod via my nephew, who knows I love to watch Mr Sunday Movies YouTubes and listen to the Australian nerds say things about pop culture that I agree with / thought already. Somehow I’ve gotten my wife into it also? Anyhow now I listen with my daughter but she barely understands English yet. Thanks for all the suggestions good lord I’ll never be able to keep up my library card is maxed out. -MikeO

Predictive text review! ā€œSuggestible Pod isā€
Suggestible Pod is the most common method for storing and restoring the pod for a variety or other purpose in the same manner that you are storing and restoring pods for the purpose you want them for your purposes in your home or in the future of the pods and the environment of the pods as you are using it in the pod itself.

    10 Stars if I Could
James and Claire are the best in the business. James and I share a common distain for all life in general while Claire brings some hope to the world. 10/5 experience. I would also recommend for the spookiest time of the year (and i’m not talking about tax time) What We Do In The Shadows, it’s like the office but vampires.

    Lovely podcast, five stars
A lovely podcast where a married couple suggests things to read, watch, or listen to. Come for the bing bongs, stay for the discussion. No tram drivers are harmed during the making of this podcast.

    A Podcast
Thoroughly entertaining and informative even if Claire keeps inciting lengthy digressions in order to edge out Septurtles. SEPTURTLES SHAN’T BE SILENCED, CLAIRE. But yeah, great pod, have a listen.

    Magnificent Duo
Gotta love Claire and James, they’re hysterical as well as insightful! Also we love Claire’s bing bongs!

    My favorite podcast

    I love ā€˜em!
First off, happy anniversary to this power couple! They say there are two people battling inside of you and for me it’s Claire and James battling for my attention. James has me with all of the comic book and nerdy suggestions, but Claire helps me reconnect with myself with her wonderful suggestions of poetry, great books, and music. Which one will one day consume my heart and soul? Find out next week!
  • the running joke
    Probably a pretty good podcast
A couple of wonderful people sharing their thoughts on range of things. Would recommend.

Brings a Smile to My Face
Listening to this is a wonderful way to find some interesting media without putting a lot of negativity out there. A good mix of popular stuff and indy finds, often featuring marginalized, overlooked or misunderstood groups. They (Claire) try to keep things upbeat and while not all sunshine and rainbows, itā€˜s an excellent break from the aggressive and polarizing nature of most of the media we consume. 5/5, A+++, would buy again.
  • zachmclay
    Love Claire
Every other week I tend to ask myself, does Claire really hate men? About a few minutes into each podcast, Claire never fails to let me know that she hates me and every singular man around the world. LOVE IT F*** minions and them kids
