I don’t want to hear about how you feel about our new president. I followed your podcast to listen about trash tv. I subscribed before hearing Kyle go off with his TDS and now I’ve asked for a refund. Such a shame.

Okay

Podcast is okay and has funny moments. Last tell all recap was painful with the shooters talk, don’t know why I had to listen through 10 minutes of 2 people losing their minds and finding out for the first time about liquid travel rules that have been around for years. It’s common knowledge that you can travel with liquids through TSA that are less than 3.4 oz if they fit in a quart size bag. If you haven’t flown since 2001 that’s fine, but don’t be so confidently wrong. And not knowing that Mobile, Alabama is a place, are you from under a rock?

Payment a must now?

Long time loyal and faithful fan - I have really enjoyed the podcast. I am so sad you went to payment only without any warning. I recently had to remove subscriptions in my life due to my dog being sick and I just had his second consult yesterday at the tune of $1095. (First one in December was $1600) So I got rid of my discovery plus subscription and my sling subscription. I can’t even watch the show anymore, yet I thought… Kim and Kyle will still be good enough because I knew the characters and I can piece together the tell alls. But now you guys have gone to subscription only as well. I just wanted you to know I loved your show and will miss it. I made a fundraiser to help pay for my dog’s surgery and it’s hasn’t worked well enough. So I am unable to keep up with you guys now. I’m so disappointed.

Not great

I hate the formula where kim is starting a sentence and kyle imitates a cast member loudly over her. I also noticed that they never criticize the foreign member, unless they are white.

Kim and Kyle do a great job of covering 90 day shows but I absolutely love their D side. Listening to their thoughts on a wide variety of topics has opened my mind up to new information. I look forward to all their recaps each week.

No Loren & Alexei as hosts are “antisemitic”!?

Wow… nothing else to say these hidden hosts who can’t show their faces, also can’t “hide” their distaste for Jews. I thought they were inclusive for all, didn’t realize that was everyone except Jewish people. Not a podcast I can relate to anymore, they let way too many listeners hatred and politics cloud their own show. I’m out.

Done listening

I’ve been in love with this podcast for several years. Unfortunately it looks like the hosts have decided to out everything behind a subscription paywall. Sorry but that’s a pretty crappy thing to do to your listeners. I’m so disappointed to say I’m done with this show and unfollowing now. It’s been increasingly hard to listen due to the addition of at least 15 minutes of ads so I’m not sure why everything needs to go full subscription but good luck with the money grab.

What a long strange trip it’s been

Super OG here - remember when all we had for 90 Day fiancée pod was a harried law school student recording into her phone. Seriously. The market was wide open and the Crays came into fill it. Was wild listening to their evolution as it went from something super niche and random to this juggernaut adjacent opportunity to make serious $ on Patreon and other platforms. The thing that gets me is the amount of talking based on nothing but hot takes - no research just their idea of what is happening based on what they feel. That peppered between all the ad content is not the best. They still come up with gems - Mykal run oft is a straight banger but overall - a good pod that seems to have evolved into a money grab with hosts that won’t get off the hamster wheel but sound like they should. 3 stars just for Mykal Run Oft.

Entertaining and informative

This podcast is my favorite reality TV podcast! The hosts have an interesting view of the American’s experience in the other countries and cultures. Kim and Kyle have traveled to different countries and have some experience with being a fish out of water because you don’t have a mastery of the language or the culture. And that gives the hosts some firm ground to critique some of the cast members shenanigans when they are abroad. The show covers many different shows and I don’t watch all of them. Kim takes the time to add the timestamps so that you can just skip over content that you aren’t interested in. I wish that all of the podcasts did that! The show also plays some hilarious songs about the plot lines and cast members. The hosts do kick off the show by reviewing “evidence” of any crazy social media or news coverage on the cast members. The show does elect to skip coverage of some of the more odious cast members as well. It’s really a very entertaining and informative show. I highly recommend it so enjoy!

Unfortunately, my best option

I love 90 Day and have watched it and all the spinoffs for a long time. I have never found a 90 Day podcast that lives up to my expectations. Cray Cray does make me LOL sometimes, but I hate putting up with the sometimes when every other word is an f-bomb. I’ve subscribed to the pay version in the past but I don’t feel good about giving them $. I listen every week but I always wish I had a better option.

Entertaining

I don’t think Kim is dumb, she does most the work on the show, constantly prodding Kyle to speak. I do sometimes think both Kim and Kyle seem uninterested in recapping the episodes, it gets a hard to listen too, but I still listen every week and skip through the lame parts. If they dedicate more time to their “B-sides” they should but a few free on the reg pod feed. I’m curious if they give more for their paid pods. I’ve considered buying in to the B side but 7.99 monthly is a lot, if the content isn’t better, I don’t want to pay for it.

So I’m a 55 year old white dude with a Gandalf the grey length beard and I love reality trash TV especially the 90 day franchise. And out of all the podcasts I listen to about this Cray Cray is single handed the best, with Mattie and Poodle a close second and Mary Payne third. Keep up the awesome coverage Kim and Kyle! Kim is always cracking me up with her Learning America segments. Especially both of their views on Southern states. 😂 Kyle is sarcastic and lovely. I think they are highly entertaining and they make my Monday and Wednesday mornings with their recaps of 90 Day shows.
