The First to the Floor team, Ben Vallis, Jake Issenberg, and Wayne Spooney, might not be traditional members of the media, but that’s some of our charm.     It would be nice if there were better balance between the hosts. I think a particular hype man has been taking up a lot of oxygen and would love to hear more from Spooney, who has great insights.

    Such an enjoyable, chill, feel-good podcast! They effectively analyze the team from its offense/defense sets and from the best player to the 15th man and also maintain a wonderful community of Celtics fans through their discord group. Such a breath of fresh air from what is usually an excessively reactionary sports media.

    My favorite Celtics podcast!
    I grew up listening to Boston sports radio, and about 2 years ago, I switched over to podcasts because I was sick of the nonstop negativity and listening to morons that quite obviously don’t even watch the games. I listen to about 5 different Celtics podcasts and this is my favorite one. I legitimately get excited every time a new episode gets posted, even in the off-season. I wanna hear actual Celtics fans talk about the team and what’s going on, that actually have smart and funny personalities, and that’s what I get with First To The Floor. Huge fan!

    Truly from the fans perspective
    Look, “objective” journalistic tales have their place and there’s plenty of pods that do that for the Celtics and general NBA. However, I’ve yet to find a podcast that channels the raw energy of Celtics fandom like this pod. When I’m feeling the highs and lows of the season, this is the best pod to listen to and know there’s other people on this journey with me.

    By far the most in depth analysis of any Celtics pod. While others focus on team building ideas and celebrating the same 3 things that happened in a game as all the other Celtics pods, FTTF brings analtics and the eye test to everyshow. Some Celtics pods do the same thing they do every pod, these guys actually break down what the team is doing on the court. "Good vibes" all around.
