Love the show! I’m leaving this request on Confronting Christianity as well, but would love an episode on ecclesiology. Specifically the evolution of how we do church. From the OT to the new to all the ways it’s done now. What elements of “the gathering” are non-negotiable and which aren’t? Church models, elders, deacons, ministries, tithing, etc

Hey y’all! I heard it somewhere said that Kyle reads all reviews so I thought I’d write one! 1) This show has been a rich blessing in my wife & my’s lives. We understand God & His Word more clearly because of the great content, and by His grace, have grown to love Him more dearly! We can’t recommend this enough! 2) I have a question: my family lives in SE Asia for Kingdom purposes, and we have been having trouble discerning how to budget our time with all the many good opportunities in front of us. So I was wondering if the 3 of you could share how you discern which of the good opportunities in front you are those you are called to pursue. We are praying and seeking wise counsel! But do you have like a grid of questions that you filter opportunities through? Are there categories you think through when deciding these things? I’m sure you have to say “no” to some opportunities haha.

Love this show! I am so thankful to you three for all you do to empower in depth study of Scripture in a way that is both fun and challenging! Question for Q&A: When it comes to eschatology I would say I lean mostly Amillennial, except that I can’t reconcile Isaiah’s description in 65:20 where he says “the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.” Why would death & sinners be referenced in this way if they no longer exist in eternity?

I listened to this weeks podcast. Rev. 19:8 states that fine linen represents the righteous acts. After reading Mat. 22:8 how can you not think there will not be a distinction. Between the faithful. I think that at the wedding supper there will be people in wedding clothes but some will have on more than others. Love the show!

S14 E18 could you clarify: Jen said in the 1000 year section it’s “to symbolize “ you are all so great in word meanings, where did she get that from, she said talked about it in the past, is there a scripture reference? Is there a root word? What past episode? Thanks you I love these 3! They are each bring a different dynamic to the show. Full of wonderful knowledge of the Bible and entertaining.

I would love to hear more about the various interpretations regarding the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth. It was said during the podcast that there are various interpretations- literal years or symbolic. I’m curious as to how you each personally view the millennium: post, pre, or amillennialism. And why? I really enjoy this podcast. Thank you!

I’ve been listening to Knowing Faith since 2019 and I am so thankful for how it has shaped my theology and understanding of the Bible as a whole. It has accelerated my faith in lighter times, and has really helped keep me grounded with hope in seasons of suffering and doubt. I find myself sharing KF episodes often, and I wish (maybe I should pray…) I had more folks to enjoy and discuss episodes with on a consistent basis. Thank you for training the Church and for all you have talked through. Being further equipped by you these last 7 years, along with my local church of course, has increased my knowledge of God and better yet, deepened my love of God.

Well, since Kyle Worley admitted to reading all of the reviews, it’s about time I got around to sharing with others how fantastic this podcast is. I have been a long time listener from the beginning, and my faith and love for the Lord has truly grown because of this podcast. Thank you to all those who are a part of bringing such rich content to the Church. For a while, I was a part a church where discipleship was not valued, and this podcast really helped to spur me on during those times. Even now, I learn something new from each episode. From a love for West Wing to a passion to make Christ known, it’s all here! I especially recommend listening to the Apostle’s Creed back in 2019/2020!

At 37yrs old, God revealed Himself to me, not how I saw Him all these years, but who He says He is through His Word. The Bible & myself were brand new & Knowing Faith podcast helped me grow biblically strong. Having followed Jen Wilkin and her studies for years, I am so thankful to have this podcast as an additional resource as I seek to learn the Bible. The content is so needed in our world today! I pray more people follow along.

Having listened to Kyle, Jen and J.T. for over 3 years I can say confidently that if you desire an enjoyable, thoughtful, conversation on the scriptures between three knowledgable friends who are serious biblical expositors then this is your podcast. Enough fun banter to feel like your sitting at the table with them, but these three excellent communicators will teach you valuable truths as they share from their wealth of knowledge.

I have been listening to knowing faith for the past four years. It has helped refine my understanding of God and His word. It has also made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion.

I grew up in a household where God was feared but the Bible wasn’t studied with consistency. As a young adult I desired to know the Lord better. I became a Bible reader but definitely needed some guidance. Having come across some of Jen Wilkin’s books & Bible Studies, I found her approach to be on the scale I needed (easy-to-understand!) I feel like I have now come to know not only Jen, but Kyle and J.T. As well. They all offer different insight & knowledge that I am grateful for. I also just appreciate the affection they have for Jesus and His word and for each other. I laugh and take down notes and realize that Knowing Faith has created in me a greater love for the beauty and magnificence of God’s word. This podcast will teach you the Bible and show you how the smaller stories tie to one, grand story. It will also stir up your affections for God and the beauty of watching his providence unfold in the Scriptures!

I grew up in a Bible centered church with solid teaching & yet when I discovered this podcast in college my understanding of the Bible was turned on its head. Between this & Jen’s studies, I feel my eyes have been opened to the great God we serve & love. I could not be more grateful.

Hey just wanted to say how much I am learning from this podcast. Also, I share Kyle’s adoration of LOTR and I also saw that video where the kid’s dad was being martyred for his faith and it scared the pants off me, too. 😂 Revelation question: the angels, elders, and living creatures that John interacts with… are these all different forms of angelic beings or something else? Also, since the Father has no physical form, when Genesis says he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, are we to take that to mean it was the Son?

I wanted to make sure I left a review which I don’t normally take the time to do. I discovered this podcast after searching for more Jen Wilkin content and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy listening to Jen, Kyle, and JT. More importantly than my enjoyment is that I’m learning. If they put out a daily podcast, I would definitely make time in my day to listen to it. I have all the previous episodes to listen to so by the time I’m done with those, hopefully they’ll be publishing daily. 😄

I’ve been slowly making my way through every single episode of this podcast since the summer of 2023 while working on my house. I’ve made it to the end of season 10 and have shared countless episodes and recommendations with friends on my way through when an episode “just so happened” to speak to something we’d been discussing, or that a friend was needing. This is such an incredible resource not just for the church, but also for those who are curious but have hard questions they want answered. I appreciate that you all have embraced Christianity’s history of a thinking and communal faith, and are challenging the rest of us to do so as well. Keep it up; you’re amazing!

I’ve felt a zest for God’s word over the past year and have really wanted to deepen my knowledge and understanding. I was introduced to one of Jen’s Bible studies and have thoroughly enjoyed her teaching. I stumbled upon this podcast and it’s been such a great resource for developing my theological and biblical knowledge. I’ve suggested it to many other fellow Christians!

This is a really valuable podcast. All three contributors provide a lot of good substance. They answer questions I have I might not always agree with, but I am learning a lot from them. I liked when they went through a whole series on Exodus I like the Q&A. They are trustworthy. Highly recommend if you want to grow in your Christian walk or simply enjoy some good Bible teaching.

I love listening to sermons but sometimes I want something that is more light and enjoyable that is still growing and edifying. This show is just that for me it has been something enjoyable and also very growing. I would definitely recommend.

I enjoy listening and learning deep Biblical truths while doing chores! I have learned so much and am always quoting you guys to my husband. This podcast has opened up so many things for us to discuss about the Bible and doctrine.

I eagerly await episodes to come out to see what my favorite podcasters have to say about it. I wish I could attend JT’s church, Kyle’s church and Jen’s Bible studies in person to hear their teaching, but this is the next best thing! The Q/A episodes are my favorite and a wealth of knowledge. Go back and listen to previous seasons! You won’t regret it!

I have listened to this podcast for quite a while but these last two seasons on Exodus have hit me in a new way. My son struggles with Sensory Processing Disorder and as I’ve attempted to encourage and support him through this I’ve often been at a loss. I’ve prayed over and over again like Jehoshaphat “I’m powerless against (this) I don’t know what to do but my eyes are on you!” 2 Chronicles 20:12. But through your podcast and my own reading I’ve seen the story of scripture through the lens of our senses!!! Our good God cares about us down to our senses and once I started to see that it’s been like reading the Bible for the first time again! It’s FULL OF SENSORY experiences, sensory words, sensory actions and sensory displays of His glory to our senses. It’s everywhere! Your journey through Exodus has highlighted this and it’s been such an encouragement to me. My son still struggles… I still don’t know how to be his mom BUT GOD does and He cares about all of him… even down to his senses. Thank you for expanding my awe of God!

I freaking love this podcast. I am a mom with two small kiddos and this is my go-to podcast anytime I get the chance (which is not as often as I personally wish!) God has used the knowledge and truths shared in this show to touch my life in powerful ways. I am more hungry for God’s word and intimacy with Christ and the Holy Spirit after listening to this show! Your discussion of God’s word is enlightening and interesting. Thank you. It seems, lately however, that there is increased time spent on commercials that can take away from the best use of time and teaching. My pastor shared this with me and I’m so glad. I’m listening through the series on themes in Exodus and appreciate the explanation and teaching in an accessible and easy to understand format. I started these episodes that aired last Fall so I’m not up to date but love that I have plenty of episodes to keep listening to.

I teach HS girls’ Bible study and these ladies love to go deep! We just finished Genesis 1-11 and I had to have listened to Knowing Faith’s podcast on Genesis 3-4 times—taking notes until I started seeing the patterns and themes emerge for myself. I’m learning from them how to approach the Word and see it through fresh eyes. And as a retired literature teacher, it’s fun to examine motifs and repeated phrases and words! I’m teaching Revelation right now, and it all goes back to Genesis and Exodus and I’m thankful for this team’s teaching! Now if Jen would hurry up and finish her study on Revelation…

I love listening to these three. They are funny yet at the same time have such awesome wisdom to share. I didn’t find them until later on in their seasons. Will definitely go back and listen to previous seasons!

This podcast has been such a wonderful resource for my family and myself. I love going through the Old Testament and seeing how it ties in with the New Testament. It is just a beautiful reminder of the promises of God and how good and faithful he is. My question is about the Sabbath. I hear a lot about “Sabbathing” in churches lately. Beside the fact that we are turning a noun into a verb, something about this new movement seems to miss something. I love the push to slow down and spend time with family. Yet, this seems to not put much focus on the rest we get from reflecting on the rest we receive in remembering that Christ has freed us from the Bondage of our sins. What can we learn from Exodus on what it means to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy?
