    Organization and homesteading
Nicole brings years of wisdom in homesteading operations, as well as shows you her daily inputs which sometimes turn into struggles :-) She also takes her years of corporate work and brings it to you in workshops on how to have vision and purpose get things done and stay super productive. She runs great events and is entertaining to listen to

    788
I enjoy your podcasts, but episode 788 the metronome was going the whole time and it’s very hard to concentrate on what you’re saying. It’s been a while since you’ve had that problem.

    Life On My Terms
Nicole has a lot of good stuff in the LFTN podcast: from homesteading, to losing the drama in your life. But there are some serious gems in this podcast that will make you want to listen daily because they will change how you live your life.

    Easy to listen to
I really like this podcast and Nicole seems like a cool, thoughtful lady. I love hearing about the intentional community she’s building in Tennessee as well as the goings on of her homestead/projects. I feel like most homesteading podcasts are either right wing preppers or Christian SAHMs and while I have nothing against either of those groups, I don’t always relate. It’s nice to hear the point of view of someone who just wants to build a good life.

    Uplifting & Encouraging
Excellent podcast and a community of doers, not just talkers, that you can easily connect with on social media. Love the focus on providing real, actionable ways to become more free in our daily lives.

Glad to have found this podcast!
I’ve been listening for several weeks now, and find the podcast informative and entertaining. Just finished the “lettuce” show. As a Registered Dietitian, I’m all in on growing your own veggies and keeping those fresh greens going all winter long. Great job!! 🌱🥬👍

    Shares inaccurate info
If it wasn’t clear from the title, she is definitely a libertarian with conservative social views. I was willing to overlook that, but also found that she wasn’t sharing anything that I found particularly useful that other homesteading podcasts weren’t sharing. After wondering if I was wasting my time through a few episodes, I finally hit unsubscribe when she agreed with a guest who was sharing information that was not true. I might waste my time to get tips I’ve already heard elsewhere, but I’m not going to listen to information that is misleading or simply not true.

    Great content and perspective
I really like that Nicole has a thoughtful perspective on a verity of topics and is willing to talk about when things don’t work out too. She is very engaged with the audience and has gathered a really great community that actually gets things done.

    One of my favorite podcasts
I love the content and flow of Nicole’s podcast. I learn something actionable from every episode and have been listening for almost two years. She recently increased to three episodes a week. I preferred one episode a week, but I’m hoping I can keep up! (I had to stop listening to Jack’s podcast because I couldn’t keep up with all the episodes and they just kept getting backlogged until I gave up.)

    Lots of information
This podcast has lots of info but unfortunately she seems in a rush to share and her voice fluctuations makes it difficult to hear at times

    Great podcast!
One of the best podcasts out there, even when the episode isn't something you would have originally listened to, you will still learn from it and find yourself drawn in. Silly goats!

    At long last!
I found this podcast by accident but I could not be more thrilled w the find. I have spent many years trying different "prepper" podcasts and being offended more often than not by the racist, sexist, homophobic rhetoric. I have also tried homesteading podcasts but they tend to focus on a specific agenda such as chickens or canning or buying in bulk. Nicole's LFTN podcast has it all- prepping, chickens, goats, gardening, harvesting and entertaining stories that draw the listener into her Hollar Homestead like a classic artist. You find yourself wondering week to week what crazy things the goats did this week, or how her canning project went, or how she is helping the hurricane victims. She doesn't pretend to have it all figured out. She willingly and entertainingly tells listeners about her failed projects as much as her successes. She connects w listeners no matter where they live including internationally. She and her husband are "living the dream" many Americans long for and many internationals have been living for centuries. She will inspire, educate and entertain while welcoming ALL individuals. Sincerely, Cat

    Weekly listener
Listing to this pod cast is part of my weekly routine. It's a good way to wind down, learn some things, and have a good chuckle. I have learned a lot through listening and just enjoy listening to other homesteaders grow in their journey!

    Awesome Homesteading Podcast
I'm so glad I started listening to Nicole's podcast! She's an experienced homesteader in the garden, kitchen and farm. I also enjoy hearing a slice of life from her own goings-on in TN. I saw a review saying 'bizarre beliefs' and can't imagine what that reviewer could be referring to, so just ignore that. You will find an enjoyable message here for sure! Even though I don't relate to every last topic, it's time well spent and at a pleasant pace. I love Nicole Sauce! Long live Nicole Sauce!

    Fantastic community being built
My wife has loved finding a woman's view of practical homesteading. And I've truly enjoyed meeting the community that has built around her podcast. She has great information and has built a very knowledgeable and helpful fan base.

Enough information to engage your brain, enough humor to keep you entertained, and her coffee is the best I've ever had. Always looking forward to the next episode.

A great show for the modern homesteader
Not full of fluff but like a casual conversation with a friend. Not rushed but not slow and boring. Nicole has found a great balance of information, variety without being overwhelmed and comfort.
  • Scaffdog1
Practical advice and a great attitude.
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. Nicole is a homesteader who talks about homesteading topics. It's nice to hear how she deals with issues that she comes into contact with us part of the homesteading lifestyle. It's also very interesting to hear about how she is preserving food during bountiful times to ensure. Proper nutrition in the winter when fresh vegetables are growing. Keep up the great work!

    Good content!!
I first heard Nicole on Jack Spirko's "The Survival Podcast" and was interested and intrigued. I like her world views and I envy her multitalented skills with homesteading, side hustles, and all the many things she accomplishes! Great show, Nicole. I look forward to every episode!!

    Awesome show!
Love this show. Great practical garden and homestead advice and occasionally goats on the roof LOL

    Look elsewhere
I'm willing to look over some amount of bizarre beliefs, if there is enough good information that I can take away. This podcast doesn't deliver. Lots of simplistic views with little practical information that can't be easily gleaned elsewhere. As someone who listens to a lot of podcasts, this one has nothing new to offer me.

Stumbled across Nicole's podcast, and finally (!!!) a homesteading podcast that is (relatively) local! I run a homestead an hour outside of Nashville and this podcast has given me lots of ideas for my climate! Thanks Nicole!!!
