Leah Marie EzraFavorite!Great information, and lots of different viewpoints and perspectives. These authors give helpful insights, ask challenging questions, and always give great interviews. Having their unique takes on a particular topic is just one of the many reasons why I listen to every episode.

MegNucksNeeds more than 5 starsEverything, I mean, EVERYTHING you need to get started as a total newbie in indie publishing or level up an existing career. WITHOUT. OVERWHELM. Well, some overwhelm is unavoidable, but the SPA girls will help you keep going
-
cmu204Love this show!Listening to these ladies is like having a warm hug and a cuppa with four brilliant big sisters. Between them and their guests, they have seen and done it all, and they generously share tips and advice with the indie writing community. Thank you all very much for what you do!
-
Ahansen123456789What a fun show!Great group of ladies and a great show! So helpful. Happy to have found this.
-
MDahnertLove these ladies!I’m a brand new writer and just found you ladies through a FB group. I have been binging episodes for a week now and have loved each one! Each episode is full of helpful information and also absolutely hilarious, I just finished listening to the dolphin episode and am still giggling! Thanks ladies!!
-
Nickie CochranFun and Super-Informative PodcastI’ve been listening to the SPA Girls for a while now and am always excited when a new episode shows up on my list. The girls are so much fun, but don’t let that fool you. Together they have decades of experience and they often invite other experts to shake things up a bit. It’s mind-boggling how they always know what I need to hear at any given moment…
-
StanleybtEpisode 299Thanks for the episode. Encouraged me to redo and update.
-
Jillian Walsh authorOne of my favorite podcastsThese women are great to listen to. I love the banter, but I also love the information and insight they have. Highly recommend.
-
MK From the LouLike having a friend in your earThe podcast has quickly become one of my must listen shows! Great chemistry and guests. I’m binging my way through old episodes. Many thanks, ladies.
-
Tinacity50Great resourceThanks to Lucy Score for introducing me to the SPA Girls. I love Lucy’s books so I listened to her episode and now I am a SPA Girls fan too! I have been thinking of writing a book for a long time and with the real world, accessible advice I get from each episode, I think I could really do this. Thank you so much!

Rockstar581Funny and Insightful!A SPA Girls Podcast feels like hanging with your best gal pals! They never cease to make me laugh. Their invited guests are great and insightful about the self-publishing world. It's honestly my favorite author podcast. It's an instant listen for me as soon as they upload their weekly episode. The only feedback for them that I have is what previous reviewers have noted: the varying sound quality and decibal levels of the hosts. It seems to have improved in recent episodes, though, with the exception of one. But I think she just forgets to speak into the microphone. A fantastic, must-listen-to podcast!!!
-
MocahgirlInGAGreat podcast!Love the guests you have on this show. Lately this is a cant miss podcast.
-
Julea065Audio quality makes this unlistenableI really want to like this podcast, but I just can’t stand to listen to it. With so many hosts, someone should take the time to make sure their microphones are at similar levels so the listener isn’t constantly required to adjust the volume of the show.
-
LizzzieLouGreat informationLots of great info. I do wish that the host with a bird would leave the bird in the other room during recording. I also think they would all benefit from recording in a blanket fort so that the sound quality is better. But it's all worth it to hear the great info!
-
audiofillyLots of fun, and a day ahead! These ladies have dropped an episode every week for about as long as I can remember. They have had some excellent guests, and when they do a show that is just the SPA girls, they choose and prepare great content. One quibble is that sometimes the audio for a guess is not as clear as I need it to be--but then, they are recording from halfway around the world--which is how they publish the Monday episode on Sunday. Really nice start to my week.
-
EleniSSBeware the SpoilersI just started listening. The first couple podcasts completely spoiled the interviewed authors books. Plus their audio is bad. Some people are too loud and others can’t be heard.
-
CI-MBEntertaining and informativeI’ve enjoyed The Spa Girls podcast for a year now. They have a great variety of interesting guests and their enthusiasm is motivational:
-
DoriAn mommyYou learn, you laugh, and you take notes.Every time I listen to the SPA Girls I learn something that gives me a boost in publishing my first book. I love the way they chat in the interviews like they are sitting around a kitchen table eating cake instead of teaching me what I need to know to succeed as an author. Out of the dozen author podcasts I listen to this one has taught me the most in the shortest period of time.
-
swstowBrilliant podcastI love this podcast! Just found it and have binge listened (as much as my family will let me get away with) over the weekend. I’ve learnt so much already. Only problem is now I want to go back and rewrite my book from scratch. Thanks ladies, keep up the great work!
-
YaninaniAmazing podcastCan I just say how I love all you ladies accents!!! But even more, I love the tips and advice and your guess that give their own input as indie authors. I listen while at work with my AirPods and I plan to do my own Podcast. I just need to get over the fear and do it! Thank you all!
-
kiki13425Love the Energy!Hi! I am an amateur writer working my way through my first cozy mystery! I love listening to your tips and tricks as I continue to dive in! Thank you for your positivity, excellent ideas, and fun! The last episode was HILARIOUS!
-
SaltLifeLWMy new favorite writing/publishing podcast!I just found these ladies and started binging the backlist of episodes. They have some excellent interviews and share some great tips. Plus, they’re fun to listen to! I’d love to hang out with them if I didn’t live on the other side of the world. Keep up the good work, SPA Girls!
-
grammar bettymy new favorite writing podcastI love the Spa Girls! Listening to the Spa Girls is like hanging out with a group of friends who also happen to be experienced indie writers with a wealth of advice and information to share. They're funny, insightful and always positive, which I love. Not to mention they have lovely Kiwi accents. Thanks for being awesome, ladies!
-
audiophillyLots of fun--and informative, too!Love the Kiwi accents and the free way these writers interact with each other. Oh, how I wish I had a kitchen table full of friends like these! But seeing as I don't, I'll just tune in and enjoy these gals.
-
CnewellAlways Great Info For Indie Authors/New & ExperiencedI don't write romance, but I do get a lot of great information here. Plus its fun to have some girl time. It feels like we're all at a coffee house enjoying a moment and just chatting and inviting new friends along the way. Great atomsphere to listen while on your commute into work or about town.
-
Debra cloptonAlways Informative with a Fun Group of AuthorsI always get something out of every interview the Spa Girls. I've been listening since I went from Tradional publishing to full indie two years ago. Its always fun and I love the girlfriends-getting-together-at-lunch kind of atmosphere! I should have written a review a long time ago. Romance Author Debra Clopton
-
Ellen TanguayAbsolutely Wonderful! This is such a great, informative and fun way to listen about the business of writing romance. I find all the women inspiring, intelligent and savvy business women. This podcast is great for anyone thinking of self-publishing. They have excellent guests and all of their topics are of high interesting. I highly recommend this podcast. Well done, Girls! Ellen Tanguay

A WynterOne of the best podcasts for indie romance authorsI started listening to the SPA Girls podcast over the summer and it has quickly become one of my favorites. They offer advice that’s specific to romance authors. Most other writing podcasts don’t acknowledge romance as the huge genre it is, so it’s nice to have it celebrated by the SPA Girls. The ladies are funny, give useful advice, and cover a broad array of topics. They also emphasize self-compassion as authors. I highly recommend this podcast.

Chris BridgesNew Go To PodcastThe SPA Girls have joined my go to podcast on self-publishing right up there the Creative Penn, and the SPP boys
-
MDG0SPA girls podcastSo I found his podcast on a search. I'm aspirin to complete my first book. I really clicked with how they interacted with one another and how they discussed he topic conversationally. I've since subscribed to their podcast and I'm looking forward to gaining more insight and hopefully publishing soon.

Christian greys ladyLove the podcastLadies love the podcast. Love all the advice you give. Love your accents

CollectonianNot Bad, But Too Many HostsI really wanted to like the SPA Girls podcast as it was a refreshing change of pace from most writing and self-publishing podcasts being an all-female cast and being all romance writers to boot. Unfortunately, while some good information can be gleaned from some episodes, it suffers from having too many hosts. It makes it confusing to listen to, especially as the women have a really bad tendency to talk all over each other. The website says they have four hosts but it times it sounds more like ten. After listening to 15-20 episodes, I finally had to give it up as I kept getting headaches trying to follow the conversations. If it was cut down to 2, maybe 3 hosts and they stopped talking over each other by about half, it would be a much better show.

FroggyButlerFun and informativeRecently found this podcast and raced through the back episodes. Such a good show, the girls are funny while also providing good advice.
