Just found this podcast and can’t get enough of it!!! I couldn’t help but notice we don’t have ENOUGH episodes. In such a time as this… SURELY we can have… more please!

I love anything Ashley Flowers, but I especially loved listening to this.

I will always enjoy what she presents even with her own slant. What’s harder to swallow is when she’s failed to fact check her own mistakes. President Grant did double his salary as our 18th president, she conveniently leaves out by doing this he gave up his $25k yearly pension for life. Presidents didn’t receive a pension then and the sacrifice alone should’ve been noted over the addenda.

Interesting to hear of our founding fathers as they were in their time…. Something we would not know about (their personal side) as I was not living during that time

I learned about the tea party and etc in 5th but this truly opened my eyes it took me till 20 to Learn but I listened to 1 episode I feel like a learned a years worth a history class.

This was a very intriguing listening. I literally finished this in two days. I listened to it all day long. I understand that this is not the 100% accurate telling of these presidents lives, but if you listened to the trailer you would know that is not what she is giving out here. It taught me stuff I didn’t know and also didn’t state stuff that I already knew about these presidents. But I literally listen to everything Ashley and Brit do ever since I got hooked on crime junkie. I just want to know when or if this show is coming back, I would love to listen to some more of this show. I know that it might not happen because it is not 100% accurate but I don’t care I like making something like politics that is so serious and can get your blood boiling into a mysterious and semi serious podcast. Because if you are not getting mad at all the injustice that is happening because of politics then you are the wrong side of history. But anyways, please bring the show back I would love to listen to the rest of the stories about the rest of the presidents. P.S if you are looking for a good news show about presidents I recommend watch the show called Pardon The Interruption it is a good unbiased show that gives you both sides of the political spectrum. P.S.S Highly recommend listening to Crime Junkie, The Deck, & Counter Clock if you are a true crime fan.

Loved this podcast!

I think if anyone wants to actually learn ACTUAL history should do their own research. I love history and notice there were some truth to what she said but she very much so cherry picked information. She isn’t accurately presenting information and often times changes it to prove her point. People if you want to learn history do not rely on Ashley. As much as I like her story telling she chooses to tell the story from her own political stand. When you learn history you should hear it from an unbiased view BUT ALSO from that point make your own decisions on what you learned. Not listening to someone who continues to throw in her own POV whenever she reads a statement she doesn’t 100% agree on. Like honestly is this history or an op-ed.

Kind of accurate but lots of important missing details. Some information distorted.

I started to listen but her introduction on Grover Cleveland turned me off.

I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast because I love history and learning new things. I don’t believe everything is true though. Also, Ashley gives off woke-liberal, anti-American vibes sometimes and that can be off-putting because I’m here for history and not to be indoctrinated. All-in-all it was a great podcast!

I love anything Ashley. She is probably the best story teller I have ever listened to. I also noticed she did not write these stories. With that said, I know I will get hate for this review but there are so many inaccuracies, Innuendoes, and slants that it was difficult to listen to all the episodes but I did. Just by saying, “separation between church and state” after Washington kisses the Bible just proves my point. That phrase has nothing to do with the church staying out of the State but more of the State staying out of the Church! They did not want the the powerful Church of England to tell them how to worship. And by the way, that phrase does not appear in the constitution. I could go one with examples but I won’t. My advice to the writers, please don’t get your information from the internet. Go find some old antique history books, read original documents etc and don’t slant the truth. All in all, it was very entertaining but that was all on Ashley.

This was interesting, fun and well produced! What more can you ask of a podcast? I love the strength and tone of Ashley Flower’s voice and she is the reason I started listening. I knew some of the information, but a lot of it was unknown to me and a good reason to do my own research on US presidents.

I’ve listened to almost all of these and find them to have cherry picked facts. And why are we focusing on all the negative? Is that how you would want your life reported on? Or even how it makes our country look? Give both angles. I’m sure your researchers and writers can pull that off for you!

Don’t listen to the haters, Ashley Flowers did a great job of discussing the not so talked about and behind the scenes details of some of our nations presidents! Of course some speculation is always needed as you aren’t going to be able to get a first hand view of everything nor can you cover every detail of a president’s life and career in a short podcast, but she did a fantastic job regardless!

Interesting stories and insight, but the podcast features a whole lot of speculation and guesswork, including what the main protagonists were THINKING. Lots of big stretches.

Ashley Flowers is not the person to do this podcast. First of all you have to wonder whose work she’s stealing to produce it. The idea of someone who is so ethically challenged herself doing this particular podcast is ludicrous - she has no credibility. Plus the podcast is just bad. Her delivery is typically awful. I do think this is a good idea for a podcast and would really like to see someone who can do it justice take a shot at it. Phoebe Judge for example - credible and produces a quality podcast experience.

I’ve always been an Ashley flowers fan! I love everything she’s ever put out. But this podcast is hands down my favorite! I’ve always been a huge history buff and I find myself going back and listening to these podcast still! I wish she’d make one on every single president because she did an outstanding job!! But that’s no surprise!! She always knocks it out of the park with whatever show she has her hands in! Nice work Ashley!! This show is amaze balls!!

The stories may actually be factual and I want to believe the writers did their due diligence. However, making all these men sound so immoral and corrupt is really biased. Sure, history is written by the “winners” but the modern “historians” who seem to delight in the gossipy trash written by the newspapers (who have always been bought and paid for) and they need to take a more balanced perspective. I’m sure they could make saint look tainted!

I love Ashley Flowers’ way of delivering a story and she does not disappoint here. This show is informative in a fun way and I was pleasantly surprised how drawn in I got so quickly. It’s just a good listen…. Plain and simple.
