    Re: Latest Episode
Ukrainian guest said that America is big on words, short on deeds. That’s after it has spent an amount almost equal to all of Europe against the war, in spite of not actually being a European nation! It’s the taxpayers who pay for the war, and generalizations like that won’t inspire them!

    No balance where is Karnitschnig?
I used to listen when they had Matthew Karnitschnig on but without him it’s dominated by left wing journalists and left wing guests.

Excellent resource to stay in the know
I teach European politics and this is my number one resource to stay up-to-date and get expert analysis on political developments in Europe. The dynamic among the participants is great—a positive, entertaining tone.

Please Politico, could I have some more?
Excellent overview of recent happenings in Europe by the excellent Politico team headed by the wonderful Andrew Gray. My only criticism is that some discussions seem a bit short.

    Great Podcasts...
Such a nice respectful combination. Led by the oh so civil Mr.Gray... I do wonder about that Rym, she’s yet to say anything even mildly neutral about Macron. Someone appears to have a bit of a fancy... that said. She’s great at her job. and being a red blooded Americans, I appreciate Matt K’s style.. call em out Matt!

Take Brexitcast, waterboard everyone and give them lobotomies, you have EU Confidential, where even if you do hear something confidential, it’s impossible to tell. If you like “meetings”, you will love it :)

    Sponsored by military industrial complex?!
Really sad to see this otherwise informative podcast shoot it’s political objectivity in the foot recently, by accepting sponsorship from @Raytheon - one of the most disgusting corporations on earth. They don’t get much more military industrial complex than Raytheon: the corporation that lobbies politicians to buy their arms, promising them jobs for their constituents (among other kickbacks), while their shareholders sit back and salivate over the profits they are gleaning from the bombing of civilians (aka collateral damage), with so-called ‘smart’ weapons. Raytheon hopes that it’s their ‘defense partners’ that are the audience to this show. But we all know that ‘defense partner’ is a euphemism for something much more sinister, and that the operative mantra here is full spectrum dominance. In other words, that the western way of life, with all its platitudes about democracy and liberalism, is really nothing other than an alibi for keeping the great global unwashed under control, and far away from our shores. Cheap resources? Tough. They’re ours now. Thanks Raytheon, we couldn’t maintain the empire without you! Shame on politico for stooping to this.

Very smart way of explaining Europe
Having moved to the US after living and working in Brussels for 25 years, I think that Politico and Ryan Heath’s work to explain and add more transparency to “Brussels Bubble” affairs in an understandable way to the non-introduced is like a breath of fresh air. I listen to the podcasts on a regular basis and am always amazed at the depth of the analysis, quality of the guests and of the discussion. In a world of too much “fake news”, I think that you are doing something right. Please continue!

    I can't hear you
Interesting guests and topics but they record it at such a low volume it's impossible to hear unless you sit within a one meter range of your computer. My volume is turned all the way up and it is still hard to catch all they're saying. I've had the same problem with the other Politico EU podcast too. Turn up the volume when you record!
